Stayed here two nights in the "off" season (summer). Facilities were very good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were in the newer building where the lobby is located. Good A/C, wi-fi, and Dish TV. Motel is located next to a convenience store/gas station which is handy. Good location - easy access to BBNP and local restaurants. The rooms are not serviced every day (trash not emptied, towels not changed) but you have to understand where you are located. The only problem was the first night when there was a serious thunderstorm which knocked out electricity for the entire county - it was back on the next day. Not the staff's fault. They offered to give us a discount for the lack of electricity. We would definitely stay here again.

My expectations for a non-5 star rustic motel (camping, rv hookup, etc.) at the entrance to a national park in an area not overly developed were not high. The place was clean and well kept. The air conditioner was easy to work and totally necessary in June. The breakfast buffet in the cafe across the highway (we were in the annex across from the main bldg.) was not included but was affordable and very, very good. If it is a slow period and no one is at the counter, just go up and wait a minute for someone to see you. It's worth the wait.

The staff was very professional and friendly. The room was clean, and it was right behind a big mountain. Only 15 minutes from the west entrance and just 8 minutes from Ghost town. Will be back.

Very clean motel in Terlingua at an affordable price. Check-in was easy and staff members were friendly and helpful. Room was neatly decorated and bed was comfortable, but if you're old like me and bring neck support while you sleep be sure to bring your own pillows; the ones supplied by BBS are very soft. Great place to stay - will be visiting again.

This place is in a great location for access to Big Bend NP. Could not be more convenient. Staff was super friendly. Good value for the $ imo. If ur so inclined wake up at 3 am, open ur door and u will see more stars than u have ever seen. Could even make out the Milky Way.

Great place to stay and close to Big Bend National Park. The check in was great. You can only get ice during their limited office hours. If you leave by 8 am in the morning, you have to get the ice the night before or wait. The morning crew would not let a few of us get ice at 7:50 am. We had to wait. Otherwise a great little place.
