Traveling from North Dakota to AZ with my dog and needed a reasonably priced place to stay, I also wanted to visit Fort Laramie. The Bunkhouse was a great place to get a good nights rest. They had great breakfast burritos, fruit, coffee, and a couple of other options. The property is older but charming, the room I stayed in was clean and free of nasty smells or stains, it had a coffee pot, microwave, and a mini fridge, along with a tv. The guy running the place was great, very helpful and kind. Guernsey itself has a couple of gas stations, restaurants, and a supermarket, it’s a small, quiet town which is my preference when traveling.

We loved absolutely everything about our stay here. Don’t go expecting luxury, Go expecting homely authentic hospitality at its very best. Independently owned for the last 40 years by Gordon who is just the nicest man on the face of the planet. It was a privilege to be his guest . Breakfast all home cooked and the best .
