Everything was great about the property. It's bigger than we expected. Big kitchen and living room. Great view on the patio/deck. The fees do add up to be a lot , but we knew about them prior to booking and just included them in the cost per night when budgeting. It's a little far away from kailua, but with the full kitchen next time we will do a few meals at the resort

Beautiful island to visit for sure! The hotel is a residential place & some units are being rented out. So, it is not a hotel with full service. The location was great & facility has pools and tennis court. (Maybe some more) It is located by the ocean, so the sound of the wave is constant. Although the facility is old, it is well-maintained. Our room had everything we needed. Nice clean beds, clean bath (but the knob to start shower was VERY tight...), good size kitchen with big fridge & dish washer, lots of utensils, dish towel and paper towel, washer & dryer with a small bag of detergent (dryer has a huge buzzer noise when it's done! we jumped up from sofa!), beach towel. If you are a night time partier, this is not an island for you. Lots of restaurants closes early (like by 9pm) and day starts early (like outside work such as mowing starts at 7am). Also, the roads leading to the hotel is very dark in the night. It is safe property with gate & security. Staff members in the property were very nice & relaxed. You want to make sure that this is a residential place, so you want to respect your neighbors as you are at home. Over all, if you want to truly refresh your body, mind, & soul, this is a great place.

Loved this property. Last time we stayed in Kona we stayed right down the road at Kona Coast Resort. This condo was bigger and we were located right near the pool so that was a plus. Aside from some of the renovation material being in one of the closets and a weird urinal in one of the bathrooms, the rooms were spacious and the living area, kitchen, and outdoor lanai area was great!

This is the real Hawaii, quiet and peaceful. No crowds and no “BUZZ” just yourself and the beautiful island and ocean. Come here to relax, turn off the WiFi, (they have it but you don’t need it or want it) Just one minor negative, all unit have steps, some have a lot of steps.

If you just want to get away from the busy and noisy city life this is the place to go. Nothing better than to wake up and sit on the lanai listening to the ocean. Very well maintained and quiet. Close to many beaches and kona. I have been visiting here for 20 years and will continue to for many more. The Kanaloa is the only place that I stay at.

The property was amazing. The only thing that I didnt like was that extra charge I had to pay when I checked in. They chargred for the useage of the AC. When I booked this property it didn't say anything about additional AC chargers or resort fees.

Absolutely loved our stay. Units are a little outdated, but they are comfortable, big and clean. All kitchen supplies were available, as we opted to shop and cook some of our meals during our stay. LOVED watching the sunset at the ocean pool every night. Super friendly neighbors who let us borrow boogie boards for the entire week. We will absolutely be back. 5 minutes from downtown Kona.

My girlfriends and I stayed for 8 nights, booked through hotels.com. This place did not disappoint! The condo it self was spacious- we had a one bedroom, 2 full bath, and an ocean view. Everything was clean, kitchen was fully stocked with kitchen utensils, dishes, pots and pans. Appliances were in good working condition. Having a washer and dryer in the condo was a huge plus! The king size bed was comfy. We did not opted to pay pay the extra $25 a night for AC but it really wasn’t too bad with the slider doors open and fans on. The ocean view was beautiful and at night we got to see all the manta ray tour boats in the bay. The location was perfect. There is a shopping center just up the road with grocery stores, a few restaurants, and gas station. We were less than 10 miles from downtown.

I don't like that I had to pay for air conditioner. I cleaned the whole apartment my self and still paid a cleaning fee I washed all linen and folded and made beds no one had to clean for us but other then that we loved everything else about are stay I will definitely be coming back

Great gated community facing to the ocean. The sunset with the sound of waves is worth to have. Equipments and amenities are available, you don’t need to bring any with you. KTA Supermarket and some stores are located in a walking distance. You can stay as if you’re at your own home.

I chose this condo because (1) beach front (2) not a hotel (3) has 2 bedrooms, living room, washer and dryer (4) free parking (5) enough room for a family of 5 (6) cheaper than staying at the hotel (6) I can cook my own food. A beautiful condo, very envious of the couple who owns this. Thank you very much - we enjoyed staying in your condo and the Wi-Fi was fast! The reason why did not give a top star in the amenities has nothing to do with the condo itself but the amenities of the facility/clubhouse. My son badly wanted to play pingpong with his grandfather but was not able to because the ball was missing. The community is very clean and beautiful. The master bedroom is on the 3rd floor, living area, kitchen, and 2nd bedroom are on the 2nd floor, and the entry/foyer is on the 1st floor.
