Very cool historical building with a great past. The remodel to bring it to todays hotel standards was very well done.

I was in town on business and wanted a hotel where I could rest and work. Who knew I would pick a hotel that was a former music school run by the Celestine Sisters! I am both a musician and a Catholic School graduate…was my higher power trying to tell me something? I don’t know. The ladies at the front desk were beyond warm and welcoming. Guests were lovely (who knew hockey fans could be so, well interesting). I completely recommend this gem especially to all music teachers traveling for competitions!! Your students will get a kick out of the place!

What a gem! It's a charming, historic property. Rooms are comfortable and quiet and staff is friendly and responsive. We were so happy to have found this hotel, even for just one night. We wish we could come back to St. Paul if just to stay there again.

Beautiful building. Incredible history as a convent and music conservatory. Big, clean rooms. Walking distance to the X and anything downtown. Easy to get to and easy to get back on 94.

We stayed on the Cedar Ave side, near the train. If you are a lite sleeper, request the other side of the hotel. The rooms are all different and very cool. We enjoyed the bar area and lobby. Checking in was great. All the staff was nice. We had breakfast before leaving. We stayed for a MN Wild game at Xcel Energy Center. Plenty of places to walk to.

We really enjoyed our two night stay! Staff were friendly and courteous - lack of private parking can be a concern but ample street. Beautiful views and amazing historic building.
