The hotel will authorize $1. 00 on the card to ensure it’s active; this amount will be released after a room inspection at checkout. Prepaid cards, CashApp cards, Chime, and similar mobile payments aren’t accepted. While you can pay your stay balance in cash, the incidentals hold must be on a card.
