Staff was very friendly and welcoming. This place is older and has a lot of character. Rooms were clean and comfortable. An amazing breakfast with lots of choices served from 6am-10am. Pool and hot tub was very relaxing and open till 11pm. Would definitely stay again!

My wife and I booked the Arabian Nights themed room for our 10th anniversary because it looked like a fun room. When we arrived at the hotel, TK greeted us very warmly and actually offered to show us 3 total themed rooms, including the one we originally chose, that were available for the same time frame and all the same price or a few bucks less. After touring all 3 rooms, we ended up choosing the Jungle Safari room, and it was the right choice. It was a really fun themed room. The best part of it was the hot tub that actually had the water coming from the "rock" wall, so it kind of imitated a jungle waterfall. The only con for me (being 6ft tall) was that I had to duck in a couple places in the room, but that wasn't much more than a minor inconvenience. There was even a second TV on a ledge above the hot tub. It is an older hotel, so don't expect everything to be perfect, but there were no problems with anything in the room or the parts of the hotel that we encountered. It's all up to date and kept very clean and tidy. Breakfast was awesome, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage links, a good selection of breakfast drinks... I don't know what the rest of the breakfast was, but there were more options as well. Overall, I'd rate our trip at 9-9.5/10.

The Don Q Inn is a very unique place to stay. We chose it because it was close to The House on the Rock and well priced. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were traveling and arrived at almost midnight. They had no problem waiting for us to check in, we just called to notify them. The rooms were clean, if outdated, but everything worked well. The pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. We felt safe while we were there and met nice people who were also traveling. We would definitely stay again for the price and for the vibes. The plane was cool to see and we would want to check out the themed rooms!

It may not be fancy or state of the art but we had a wonderful stay! The room was comfortable and clean. We didnt use the in room hot tub but the pool and jacuzzi were perfect as well. Very short drive from House on a rock.

I really loved staying here! The plane out front was a huge surprise, as well as all the barber chairs in the lobby. The room was dated, but clean and comfortable. If you are tired of a boring chain hotel, give this hotel a try!

The staff were friendly. It's an old building but very clean. There is whimsy everywhere you turn, which keeps me coming back. The only issue that I've ever had is that the pillows are flat.

We loved our stay there. The first night we played pool, air hockey & checkers. There was a tornado watch in effect, so we spent a lot of time in the lobby watching the tv. Breakfast was good but not hot enough. There was a nice variety though. For it being an older building, our room was impeccably clean. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a 3 hour tour of House on the Rock.
