Dunns Josephine Hotel is a great place if you’re visiting Miami or overnight stopover before going somewhere else (like a cruise). It has a New Orleans vibe. Very cute and quaint. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Shout out to Luis G and Toni. It’s 11 mins Uber-ride to Port Miami, if no traffic. This hotel is not as pricey as the hotels closer to the port. The airconditioner is in tiptop shape. They provide some breakfast. You have to walk a couple of blocks to get bottled water, food, or snacks. The bayside marketplace (overlooking the water) is the place to go with Uber at night if you’d like to listen to live music, do some dancing, hang out in bars, buy some souvenirs/cute items, and/or eat dinner. The marketplace has various types of cuisine and drinks available. The fresh coconut juice place was amazing.

I was wondering about this hotel cuz I frequently hotels almost every week these days and I decided to check them out and I got to tell you for me customer service is top of the game and they take it a level high the stuff is great though any recommendations restaurant transportation I mean they're right there and if you need something extra they will go out of their way to help yourself I'll continue staying there I like it it's quiet it's peaceful I have friends that live in the neighborhood and so my hat's off and the Oscar goes to the style and how you need the hotel it is I love it

This hotel has a character of its own. The hallway is decorated like a museum- a tribute to black culture, to pioneers of back movement. Very friendly staff, comfortable bed. Good, budget stay for one night

The bed was one of the softest ever; it felt great. The price was unbeatable. Location sketchy, but the property was safe, and the security was great. The hotel also has beautiful photos and black history all around.

Café da manhã muito bom para estados unidos. Perto do Porto de Miami. Boa alternativa para quem vai pegar cruzeiro. Falta uma lixeira no banheiro e lugar para tomar o café da manhã, mas nada que onere o hotel.

Great location in walking distance to downtown Miami. Staff very friendly, shout out to Zoe. In historic Miami Harlem, this cute hotel loaded with memorabilia. Many old black athletes, musicians, artists, and authors stayed there. Rooms were comfortable, clean, and the A/C sufficient. They even offered a nice breakfast snacks to start your day. We were allowed to check our bags in early, before we headed off for our cruise. The cruise port is very close to the hotel, so it is a great location for cruise travelers. I highly recommend this establishment. I give it 5 Stars across across the board for price, approximately to the cruise port/ downtown Miami, cleanliness, staff, and comfort of the rooms!….Steven Yeager

We found this little gem when we got stuck in Miami. It was just what we needed to lift our spirits. The decor was lovingly curated to capture the jazz era. We stayed in the Josephine Baker room and learned about her unique history. The bed was super comfy, the shower was hot with great pressure, and the A/C worked like a charm. The concierge was very kind and inviting. Skip the chain hotels and give this one a try!

We stayed for a Lady Gaga concert that was taking place at the Kaseya Center. It’s very close to various places, usually 8-12 minutes rides. We had a lovely time, the staff are so nice and welcoming. The room was clean and the AC freezing cold, which I love. Had a wonderful time there!
