Great guests and staff not a flea-bag motel at all. Only problem was the light at the door attracts too many moths. Bathroom was superbly clean. Comfortable room in old motel that has been kept up well.

The room was not fancy or large, but the room was spotless. The bathroom was also spotless. I was looking for an inexpensive hotel within driving distance of Traverse City. That is exactly what I got. I would stay there again.

Old, dated, clean and comfortable. A no frills short term place close to the interstate. The bed was comfortable and the light was good for reading. The bathroom was very small and had not electrical outlet. The picture Expedia shows is NOT the motel in question.

Pleasant, affordable. Online showed 2 Queen size beds, but it was really 2 doubles. My husband is a big guy and needs at least a queen. Customer service says he knows online shows the inaccuracy. Disappointed.

Cheap place to stay on the way to Traverse City. Went to a concert in Interlochen. Did some sight seeing also. Probably would find something cleaner next time. Good location.

Hotel is very inexpensive, so don't come here expecting a Taj Mahal. It is a little run down and showing its age. The bathroom floor was sticky. But the room was comfortable and exceeded my needs. The negative aspects were superceded by the staff, who were very kind, gracious and accomodating. The hotel is conveniantly located and I felt no need to be concerned about the safety of my property and person. This hotel is not for the indoor types who want the hotel to be their vacation. It is ideal for the outdoor sportsmen types who go to Cadillac to enjoy the natural splendor it has to offer, and need a comfortable, hassel free and inexpensive place to rest their head.

Staff was friendly and helpful (if you could find them) Room needed lots of repair and there was a dirty wash rag in shower leaving me to believe the shower hadn't been cleaned Had a thermostat but it didn't go to heating unit. Plus the Heater turned on and off a thousand times during night! There was only One electric plug with a ground and that had the tv and frig plugged in it so had to unplug for my laptop or if I had used the microwave.... .No electric plugs at all in the bath room to use hair dryer and curling iron!

Management was very polite. Given that this is a local (not a chain) and last minute booking, it worked. I wasn't expecting the Ritz. A bit outdated but had clean sheets and we felt comfortable sleeping. Plus was our pets were also welcomed.

Stayed here for 1 night. We were just passing by and had a long ride ahead of us. The room smelled musty, old everything. Clean bathroom, but tiny shower with painful water coming out of an old shower head. There's a tv, fridge and phone in the room. The bed had old school linen, mattress is old and overall it was scary to sleep in. Window curtains were dirty from possibly years of not being changed. There were some people that were living there, I heard they were looking for an apartment so they're temporarily living in the motel. There's not much around the area , so it's really best if you've had a long drive and need a bed for the night. The owner/manager was pleasant and friendly.

We arrived for a late check in with no issues. The office manager was great, we ended up hanging out with some of his relatives on the "porch". The rooms are VERY small, enough room for a bed, a small table, mini fridge and a TV. The bathroom was also small and has a shower stall only. The choices on TV were AWESOME! It is very small, a good place when you need a place to crash somewhere. We could tell they are currently doing some remodeling to some of the rooms....this old hotel needs some TLC for sure. Good area to stay in, business district, gas station/liquor store less than a block away.
