During a significant price drop in Miami, I was looking for a deal on South Beach. The Essex house has been refurbished, is clean and conveniently located. There is no pool, but the beach is a block away. The service was good, the checkin was quick and accommodating, the room had new floors and furniture, and the entire room was new and clean. If you're looking for a good deal, it's worth a stay. The hotel was quiet overall. No complaints during my stay.

We definitely stay here again or their sister hotel next door. Clean and great location, friendly staff.
