The motel is really the best in its category. The staff is friendly, the room is clean, the water is hot and plentiful, the Internet is fast. I do not know what else to look for duing a motel stay. The only drawback is probably the noise of the traffic, but this cannot be helped really, as it sits alongside a busy street. Though the motel itself is a few rows back from the street, the noise can still be heard. All in all, this is the best place I stayed in recently.

Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating for my particular trip which needed an early check in and check out - they went out of their way to make sure I had a room cleaned and ready very quickly and gave me instructions on how to check out at a very unusual time. All I can say is that a lot of Hotel staffs could learn a lot from this staff how to make customers feel welcome!! Plenty of storage- plenty of Hot Water - AC worked well as did the appliances!!!

Staff was excellent. Went out of their way to make my stay pleasant. Would definitely stay again. Easy access off of interstate 40. Plenty of eating options in the area. Can’t beat it for the price.

I liked the location of the property. It is close to a huge number of restaurants as well as grocery stores, gas stations and a Wal-Mart.

Overall, better than expected. Property/room condition wasn’t great, but just felt dated more than actually dirty. There was an odd aroma in the room when we got there. Not a terrible smell, more of a mustiness from the AC/Heat not being on for a while. The room was a non-smoking room, but the couch had an odor of cigarette smoke; I only noticed it when I laid out on it for a bit. I also noticed the smoke detector was missing above the door, but wasn’t able to mention it to the staff, as we were leaving before the lobby opened.

The hotel is in a great part of Cookeville! It’s right off I-40 and super close to tons of shops and restaurants! The bed was not our favorite, but it was clean. The staff was pleasant and kind and accommodating. If I need to stay in Cookeville again with our dogs, I’d consider staying here.
