It wasnt bad. You get what you pay for that is for sure. It is in a great location lots of things very close by and the staff were the nicest people.....I stay in a lot of hotels and these may have been the best yet. I would consider staying here again because of the staff.

The receptionist at check-in was great. We did have a couple of small problems in the room like the heater and tv not working but as soon as we reported it it was fixed. Have never stayed at a hotel that was this friendly. They are in the process of redecorating the rooms. Ours was one of the older rooms and although it needed minor work it was still a very comfy room.

The only trouble found was no place to hang up clothes on hangers. There was the need for a closet or clothes rack. Lots of room in the room for the same.

With a little more attention to upkeep this would be a nice little place. Right away we were confronted with unshoveled walks .Clearly they had not been attended to at all. Walking to and from the room through piled snow(in business clothes & heels)was not a pleasant experience. A thorough cleaning of the bathroom may have avoided our discovery of a childs pair of undrwear behind the door.Having some pride in your establishment goes a long way.

It is more like a motel than a hotel. Price is very affordable. Non-smoking room was filled with smoke smell. If you are on a official visit, I wouldn't recommend staying here, but if you are paying for it from your own pocket, I would stay here again.

The room itself was clean, and the mattress was relatively comfortable. However, it was NOT a king-size mattress as advertised….it was maybe a queen at best, and was on a bare metal frame like what you’d have at camp. No blanket, just a top sheet and thin cloth cover. The fan in the bathroom sounded like a blender. It was unsettling to have people sitting on the curb outside their room and watch me unload. There was hot water for the shower…IF no one else was taking a shower in another room. And there was a surprise $50 deposit required at checkin. (Which I easily got back when I checked out) Pretty bare bones/old. It looks like they are trying to remodel? But there’s a long way to go!

Expedia doesn’t tell you that property makes you leave a cash deposit. Luckily I had money otherwise I would’ve been out the cost of the room they charged my card as no refunds are allowed

The room i stayed in did not have a working microwave and the refridgerator sucked. Didnt keep anything cold. Looked like tgey were still working on the room as in renovating it. Tv was very tiny, only had 3 channels. There was either extreme cold at 76 degrees or extreme heat at 78 degrees there was no in between. Comepletely uncomfortable. Also known as the roadway inn, vecause theres no other sign

Si vous êtes non-fumeur, n'allez pas dans ce motel, car même si une chambre est non-fumeur, elle est entourée de chambres fumeurs et l'odeur se répand partout, c'est invivable!! Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre, on nous en a proposé deux autres, dont l'une qui sentait moins, mais plus tard, des fumeurs ont pris la chambre à côté et le problème est revenu! Tant qu'ils ne feront pas un côté du motel fumeur et l'autre non-fumeur, le problème ne se réglera pas.

Had intended to camp overnight but booked the hotel when weather called for severe thunderstorms. Arrived at the hotel and took a few minutes to get checked in. I had reserved a King Bed room and when I got there, all of those were gone so the staff upgraded me to King Bed with Jacuzzi. Overall the room was fine. They were going through some upgrades so sink/vanity still had C-clamps on the marble where the adhesive was apparently curing. There was also a spare piece of trim waiting on the sink being finished. Neither of these factors affected the rooms comfort. Staff was friendly and easy to deal with.

Did not have power and needed an inexpensive hotel for one night. Rodeway fit the bill perfectly. Although hotel is obviously undergoing renovations, room was clean though spare. Refrigerator was unexpected bonus. Some minor repairs required but would stay here again.

I have stayed at the hotel a couple times when visiting the battle creek area. It is convenient and cheap, so you get what you pay for. The rooms are good, but in need of a little maintenance. Nothing that was to deter me from staying there again. The only problem I encountered was their Wifi did not work with Vista. This caused some issues as I was wanting to do some online homework. Other than that I would recommend this hotel. Denny's is right across the street for a convenient breakfast as well.

I would consider this a 'Motel', not a Hotel. The people running the dwelling were sociable and friendly. The room was clean, but the bathroom had visual water damage near the tub, and the particle board near the faucet end of the tub was giving way under the wood laminate. There was an ice bucket under the toilet, which looked like the pipe was leaking at some point. My daughter would not use the shower.
