The room was recently refurbished and was a very nice place to stay. The bed was actually a really good size other places we stayed offered a king size bed but was actually smaller this bed was a really nice size as advertised. The bathroom was large compared to other bathrooms sizes.

The room was clean and spacious. The water pressure was adequate. There are plenty of amenities, like minifrigs, microwaves, irons, ironing board, and blow dryers.

The friendly hills inn was the perfect place for my visit. When I needed to call, I was graciously greeted on the phone and checked as usual. It was quick, and I was prompted if there were any special requests that they might consider at the time. I ended up in a ground-floor suite that had recently undergone renovations. Perhaps one comment would be that the cleanser is fantastic in quantity? Could be less, or the room was airier. It was a little oversanitized, but I recognized my safety during this period.

I was expecting to see a modernized exterior and a small parking area when I first arrived at the inn. We were informed that there is no daily housekeeping, but we could request anything we needed, and this was true. As I returned to the car, I noticed that the parking lot and walkways were well kept, and the pool was spotless, even though it was closed for community use. We asked for a ground-floor room at check-in, which was too late as there weren't any remaining. I didn't think about it at the time I made the reservation when one would most likely have been available. I said no problem, but I quickly discovered there is no elevator to the second level. I didn't take a chance carrying my own luggage up and down the stairs because the stairs are steep. This was the sole issue throughout our stay. Due to the cleanliness and brand-new furnishings, entering the room was pleasant. Everything in the bathroom was spotless and working normally. The dining table and two chairs are excellent furniture, and the air conditioner is cozy. Noise is not a concern. Nice drapes obscuring the parking lot lighting with linens at night. Although it is in desperate need of defrosting, the refrigerator operates efficiently. Use of an ice machine. Numerous eateries line the valley. This is the first time I've seen a hotel. This place was undoubtedly a gem in a haystack. I say this because this location is one of the best places to stay when looking for an inn or motel. The room was open plan and very roomy unlike most hotel rooms. The bed and dresser are typically so close that only one person can walk through the area at a time. You can walk in with 2 or even 3 people in this location without bumping into another. The bed is a little higher than most beds, ideal for someone aged 5 to 10 but for someone aged 5 to 6 of 6 get going to get up on the bed lol. The only drawback was the coffee pot. Because they werent particularly sanitary, the coffee inserts could be improved. So if you have a 5 cup or a smaller Keri machine, bring it along with everything you need.
