I have driven by this lodge for 25 years. I finally decided to try it out since I needed a one night’s stat before a hike in the Smokies. I loved everything about it. Great staff - very friendly and welcoming. Rooms were clean. Loved the thick towels and comfy bed. Lots of hot water! Pool was nice. Loved that it was walkable to Gatlinburg restaurants and shops. I felt safe as a solo female traveler. I will definitely stay here again the next time I am in Gatlinburg!

The staff was extremely helpful. The room and the hotel were extremely clean. The pool was one of the best that we’ve experienced in a hotel. Our one disappointment, the hotel restaurant was severely understaffed, and weren’t able to take care of customers the way that they probably wanted to.

The place was clean and well maintained. We loved the indoor pool. Outdoor pool was not open yet for our trip, so we did not get to experience that portion of the property. Loved that there was a coffee shop and Cafe on-site. It was a little off the strip, but close enough that the walk wasn't bad and the free trolley service that toured the area was a great convenience since parking is limited and fee based.

It was my 18 year old daughter, two 12 year old nephews and I stayed at the glenstone! I will tell you it took me three months to find a decent hotel close enough with indoor pool that would accommodate all four of us and that we all would enjoy! And I’m so glad I changed from the wander hotel to the glenstone lodge because whewww seeing both I was amazed at just the staff at glenstone from the easiest check-in (and courteous as well) to easier check-out! They warned us about bear an was very kind! No hassle on extra linen they even hand out lemonade and popcorn in the lobby! The beds were very comfortable and I never seen a bug. Not even an ant! However we did see bear outback across the creek behind the hotel! It was awesome experience there! I’ve stayed at a few cabins and hotels in the smokies and this was the best experience yet! The boys had a ball in the pool. Which is beautiful and a tad bit warm but the hot tub was hot! And nice! All in all I would 1000% recommend this lodge for your stay in the smokies! Very affordable as well! We will be back.

wow— we stayed here on short notice and it was awesome!! great place for kids to burn off energy at the indoor pool area. we were fortunate enough to get a poolside room too so it was quick & easy access for us to go back and forth. the staff were also AMAZING! i’m honestly just so impressed. Andrea at the front desk was superb! like seriously, i was in awe at how kind she was and went above and beyond to prioritize our room to be ready early (we had a cranky toddler in desperate need of a nap lol). we would definitely stay here again. also- the onsite restaurant was SO GOOD!!! we were shocked bc typically those places can be mid but, it was soooo good. the beds were very comfortable; rooms were so clean and smelled fresh

The room was good for the price right in front of the pool! I had 3 teenage girls with me for spring break and that was a great day filler! The outdoor pool was closed.. Staff was normal no one did anything that stood out to mention. The only thing was the breakfast it start as a buffet on Friday they charge $12 per person and they don’t have enough of a variety to charge. Through the weekday, which was when we were there, we left on Friday you order off of the menu and the prices are outrageous but the food is so much better..

The staff at Glenstone Lodge was so amazing and went above and beyond. So kind and helpful. The restaurant staff at Mountain Trail Grill and Pizza was also great. So glad we stayed here. This will be the first time in 40 years of travel where I can honestly say I definitely look forwatd to staying here again. Ten Stars from our tribe! That pool area is to die for. No one else has anything like this for the price we paid
