The guest house was extremely charming and clean. Service was friendly and efficient. Our bed was more on the firm side and sounded like it needed a little WD40..

The Inn is undergoing renovation but it did not affect my stay. Hearty food, reasonably priced in dining room/bar. Very scenic and a real nice homey feel. The guest house was amazing! Gorgeous Victorian home carved into suites. I could live in this suite! Easy in and out of parking lot. I will return. However, you should prefer charm and comfort over glitz to choose this hotel. Staff appears to be somewhat new but trying hard to give good service.

When we checked in the staff was obviously dealing with issues, including a large event and a broken elevator. Yet they got us processed quickly and got us on our way to our room. Very friendly, helpful front desk staff! The room was a very spacious efficiency with a kitchen, living room, sleeping area combination. Very nice large bathroom and everything was very clean! Good to note, the ice machine is located in the main inn so a cooler is handy. Enjoyed our overnight stay and would return. when passing through the area.

What amazing place to stay… Furnishings were great… Service was great… Overall feeling of the room was great. Only gripe is the restaurant… Would love to have a real five-star restaurant here. It would be amazing! However, this is a great stay!

Very nice hotel. We stayed in the "Bush suite" and it was perfect. I traveled with my son, 11 years old and daughter 9 years old. This room was perfect for us. Very good bed, high quality bedding. There is a kitchen with everything from a fridge to a dishwasher. If I could make one negative remark it is the WIFI that keeps dropping out, you find it but there is no internet. My son got real upset because he kept losing in online games because the internet stopped working for 4-5 minutes at the time. Probably an easy fix!

The pictures are very deceiving - as they are of the Guesthouses not the main hotel. I thought I was booking at an Inn, but I was really booked at a regular ole chain hotel. One that charges $8 per person per day for their pool! (you should really change this policy for paying overnight guests - why should we pay additional for facilities like this?) There's also nowhere to walk to from here, so if you're without a car expect to be paying for Ubers everywhere (which is fine as they're readily available). Overall, felt this was just a typical hotel stay whereas I was looking at the "18th century Inn" and was really confused as to why I was paying to use hotel facilities after paying for the hotel.

Furnishings and housekeeping are sub-par. TVs are pathetic, no wifi information in the room, walls are paper thin, shower is small, housekeeping forgot washcloths, couch uncomfortable, furniture is old. Won’t stay again. Felt more like a halfway house than a nice Inn.

When we arrived we did not get the booking we had done on line which was a junior suite which had microwave, small fridg. And stovetop. Instead we got a king bed without microwave or stovetop. The young man who check is in said he couldn’t find the reservation and would we accept the other suite. We had been driving since 4am and just want to rest. It all worked out fine.

The room was nice and the amenities were as advertised. The details and woodwork of the guesthouse were beautiful and much of the entry was from the original house-they renovation was done beautifully. When we went to check in, we were given to the key to a room that had not been cleaned. It was also not the room we booked (it was a studio style and we booked one of the suites with a bedroom and king sized bed). Unfortunately I was told when booked through a third party site they cannot guarantee the room type even though you select/pay for it and they could not compensate for that. They were able to give us a different studio suite that had been cleaned after another small wait. Once we got into the room, it was nice even though it was not the style room we booked. The restaurant on site was wonderful. The location is a couple of miles from a nice beach/park area.

The ac units in this place are very difficult to figure out - so much so we suffered much of our stay without any ac. The rooms on the first floor are substantial. But they first had us on the third floor - despite the write ups on their site these rooms are TINY and I wouldn't want to spend much time let alone more than a day in either - especially if I were traveling with any company. Their site also boasts adults only. This is not the case.
