On-site valet parking was super handy. Easy walking to lots of restaurants, shops, and other amenities. Large lobby and dining area for hanging out with larger groups. Free coffee all day and night. Cold water in the lobby. Water bottle refill station across from the breakfast area.

One block from River Street and could get on trolly tour out front.Many restaurants close walking distance. Got full excellent breakfast and great room with big TV, frig, big shower. Little pricey and had to pay extra for parking, but good deal for so close to River. Highly eccomend!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn Bay Street Savanah. It was a nice property and very convenient to everything downtown. We were able to walk most places. The one downside was $48 per night for parking that seemed pretty steep!

First off, the valet staff was very kind and made entry into the hotel super easy. The hotel staff were prompt at check-in. We had our keys quickly and were able to get up to our rooms. We pretty much ran to the pool upstairs and enjoyed some time there. It's not a very large pool (maybe max 30 people), but it offers a great view and the children had a blast playing with some other kids there. Downtown is right across the street so everything was in a super short walking distance which was a life saver in some of the summer weather. After dinner, the lounge bar offered quick service. The beds were comfy and sleep was great! Breakfast in the morning was easy and the valet was quick and friendly again. We'll definitely be back!

Nobody in the lobby at 2:45 in the morning when we went down to get sodas. Helped ourselves to Cokes in the lobby fridge but could not find anyone to charge them to our room. Breakfast was excellent. Valet was quick and easy. Early check-in at 9:45 a.m. - that was very nice.

The Hampton in Savannah is five stars all around. First, you cannot beat the location on Bay Street. It is nearby to everything that we were hoping to see on our trip. Second, the rooftop pool was an incredible amenity. Surprisingly it was never crowded and really felt like it was almost our own private pool. And third, the free breakfast buffet is such a plus in a city where meals can be expensive. There were plenty of options at the buffet to keep everyone happy. Another huge plus for the hotel was the staff. They live up the reputation of having that "Southern Hospitality" by greeting you every time you return to the building and wishing you a nice day every time you leave. It's a small touch that truly makes a difference. I stayed four nights with three teenagers and everyone enjoyed the experience.
