This hotel was perfect! Location was great. Right across the street from the beach or toboggan run depending on what time of year you go. Easy walking distance to so many restaurants. You can walk around the lake or up Cobble Hill. There is plenty of parking available. We've stayed at several different hotels in Lake Placid over the years and parking at some are horrible not enough spots. Or they are just too far out of town to walk to everything. So you have to drive then find a spot to park. Not here! There's plenty of spots available. Also being at the edge of town vs being right downtown its easier to get in and out. Inside the hotel is stunning with great views of the lake right across the street. The staff was wonderful. Everyone was very nice and helpful from the front desk to the lady taking care of breakfast to the building care. Even my teenage son commented on how nice the room cleaning guy was for our floor. That's a big deal! There is a laundry room. We always try to not over pack but enjoy hiking so it's nice to do laundry as needed. This is a great stay. Zero regrets. We had a great vacation. Planning to stay here again next time we come out.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hilton in Lake Placid. The location is fantastic, close to the lake and within walking distance of many attractions, restaurants, and shops. The hotel was exceptionally clean, well maintained, and had a very welcoming atmosphere. One of our favorite features was the spacious lobby, which was a great place to relax and spend time during rainy days. Our children especially loved the projector room, which provided a fun movie-theater-like experience. The staff was friendly and professional, and it was clear that management takes great pride in maintaining the property and ensuring guests have an enjoyable stay. We highly recommend this hotel to families and anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Lake Placid.

We had the room with the balcony and lake view. I love how the room was organized! Seperate sink/fridge/microwave/coffe/countertop then sofa, chair, desk and entrance to the balcony, then bed with great shelfs and electronics, then separate sink/ toilet and shower. Perfect design and also decorations! All the amenities and staff were just awesome. Great place for families and also dogs! Thank You! I will be back!

Clean pool, eating area and beautiful location. Everything looked brand new. There were great additional amenities such as available games/ coloring, popcorn, coffee/water with lemon and cucumber station, fruits, open fire place outside looking out to mirror lake, and cookies available for hotel guests. Pool closes at 10 pm, but they are flexible and allows you to use it beyond the 10 pm time.
