This place is 8 miles off the road into a canyon. It is remote and has good views. The room is large motel room type. The general manager who runs it is friendly and competent. The grocery store she runs has a surprisingly large selection of food. You get $7 token for breakfast, but you can buy whatever you want. The room has a fridge freezer, a microwave, and a hot plate (for two saucepans). There are several pans and silverware. Hot tub is great as is the games room (table tennis and fusball). Some of the rest of property is a bit tired. Cushions on outdoor furniture is very tired as is pool. We did pop into the Border Casino. There is no doubt, this is better choice!

The rooms are very modern with everything you need to stay for several days or a week. The office that was only open from 3 to 9 PM so if you need anything today, you check in for the next morning you need to get it right there and there.

I was surprised at how nice this remote resort was. Clean, readily stocked rooms with microwave, toaster oven & hot plate (plus refrigerator with decent sized freezer. The area surrounding the rooms were nice & great for nature lovers. The store was stocked with many items, I wish we were staying more than one night!

This place is a gem. The dirt road leads to a retreat destination that exceeds expectations. The room was clean and spacious, ample food at the office marketplace and wildlife galore, mule deer and wild turkeys aplenty.

Lovely place to stay, quiet and definitely off the beaten path! Convenient for Great Basin National Park. Make sure to bring some food from further away, no restaurants or grocery stores in the area, although there is a well stocked small store at Hidden Canyon. Staff were helpful, nice. Rooms nice, with pretty much a full kitchen. Beautiful grounds, with deer, wild turkeys, and hummingbirds around. Nice pool , hot tub. I would go back if in the area again!

Our 2 day stay was Amazing!! Our room was very clean and comfortable! We loved shopping at the market and enjoying dinner and drinks on the patio while the deer were grazing just feet away! The hot tub was relaxing, and the star gazing was delightful!! I am looking forward to returning!! The staff was so friendly and super nice. The humming birds were abundant and playful with all the beautiful plants. Even the gravel road was well maintained. Thank you for a lovely visit!!

This place is amazing if you know what you’re getting into. First of all, there’s no cell phone service so you’re going down in an area with your phone won’t work. I’m fine with that. I actually enjoy that. The property was amazing and the rooms were clean and I felt very welcome at the establishment. On the property, there’s numerous types of animals from hummingbirds to mule deer to turkeys to coyotes which typically don’t mind people so you can take photos of them and see them in pure nature. It’s amazing to be able to wake up to that or watch that from your porch. They have a nice little store inside that has everything from candy to food to even health-conscious food which a lot of places overlook and I was very grateful that they had that because I tried to watch what I eat. The lady inside the front desk was very informative. Very caring about any needs. I may have just overall a place. I don’t think I could give this location more stars seriously 1000 out of 10.

The property was a little hard to get to at first. After a day to get used to, it was not too bad. The facility is very clean and the staff are very kind and fun. Their office/ store is very useful. I can get grocery there with a reasonable price. The facility is enjoyable with wildlife in harmany with the people. I saw deers, turkey, rabbit, and a lot of hummingbirds. They are so cute. I had a very pleasant experience, and would recommend it to anyone.
