What a wonderful place to stay. The room was spacious, modern, and clean. We were able to sit outside at night and see the stars so clearly. The views are amazing and I would recommend High Frontier to anyone wanting to stay in the Fort Davis area.

We were very happy with the accommodations at High Frontier. The bunkroom was spacious and well stocked. The outdoor scenery was fantastic. We spent the first night staring into the dark skies looking at the stars. The location is close to Fort Davis, Marfa and Alpine (within 25 miles). A great place to be "home base" for the area. We definitely recommend for your next vacation spot.

The studio 2 room was clean and spacious. The rain show head is not for me but I'm sure I'm in the minority. The robes and slippers were a nice surprise. We didn't get to try it the pool. Maybe next time. I did not see any of the staff but we did not need there service. I wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks for your hospitality.

The property is secluded and in a beautiful area for stargazing and enjoying sunrises and sunsets. Minutes from Fort Davis and Davis Mountains State Park. Across the road from the Nature Center and great hiking. The pool area was lovely for picnic lunches and afternoon swims. The rooms are very clean, well decorated and the beds are so comfortable! The staff is welcoming, friendly and accessible! The property is very quiet and relaxing.

This was a funky converted field house on a converted ranch. It is off the beaten path but close to Ft. Davis, TX. You do have to go down a dirt road for about a mile and a half before you get to the property. We picked this place because we had booked a star party at the McDonald’s Observatory and it was only 22 minutes away. From the outside it doesn’t look like much, but the inside was really nice! The check in was easy as they left the keys on the outside of the door. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was really nice! There is a microwave and refrigerator so you can bring snacks and heat them or keep things cold. The stars are beautiful, at least what we could see. It was a bright full moon so we couldn’t see the stars as well as if there was no moon. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a unique stay!

Beautiful setting and well appointed. Could probably use some shelves in bathroom for toiletries.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The view of the mountains was wonderful, and the night sky was gorgeous. I've never seen so many stars! We didn't get to enjoy the fireplace as the weather was too warm for a fire, but I bet it would have been cozy. Compared to other accommodations in the area, the price was very reasonable. I'd definitely recommend High Frontier.

An absolute unique setting surrounded by the Fort Davis Mountains. It is directly across from the Chihuanhuan Desert Nature Center. We stayed in Bunkhouse 1 that worked well for 2 adults and our 11 year old grandson. The first night there we enjoyed sitting by the pool and the hot tub. We chose this location aa our home base to spend time both in the Fort Davis area and the Big Bend area. Bunkhouse accommodations are similar to a hotel setting. No kitchen but small frig, microwave, espresso machine. It also has a fireplace. It is a very peaceful setting that is still being developed. We enjoyed a short hike on the property but according to site info they plan to develop more trails. There are also trails at the Chihuanhuan Natural Center and at the Fort Davis State Park. The accommodations were very comfortable and provided everything we needed for our 5 nights. We bought snacks and lite breakfast food in town. The line of toiletries is top of the line. I wish I could have purchased it.

The villa is very comfortable and modern. It’s very calm. The pool was too cold so we couldn’t enjoy it but the whirlpool was nice !

This place was awesome! It was a bit hard to find, and there was no cell signal to help try to find out how to get there, but other than that it was a wonderful getaway! Quiet and serene, beautiful landscape, and the suite itself was superb! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.
