We always stay here with our dog when we come to Kalamazoo. The staff is friendly and the rooms and hotel are always clean. And it’s walking distance to a number of great breweries, cocktail bars and restaurants.

Loved this hotel. Clean, friendly staff and accomodating. The room was more than I anticipated and more than I needed. With the large space, kitchenette and two beds, it will be hard to go back to a regular hotel room. Nicely done!!

Room was clean and although we stayed only one night the room had plenty of storage and a desk with computer chair convenient if staying longer. Wasn’t fond of street parking but if staying longer there is a parking garage for $20 as long as your stay is for. One night didn’t justify the $20 though

The staff at Home2 Suites were the highlight of my stay! The kitchen team is incredibly kind, and the front desk was honest and helpful throughout. I love that breakfast is included, though adding a cold brew option would be a great touch. I’d also recommend providing a list of local pet boarding/daycare options and clearer instructions for the dual hot water/coffee machines. However, the experience at the connected Hilton was quite different. The atmosphere felt negative, and I found the front desk staff there to be judgmental and rude based on my attire. Additionally, their $15 pricing for a small margarita felt excessive, and they should ensure their "Happy Hour" signage is removed when it isn't active to avoid misleading guests. Note for future guests: The parking situation is confusing. It isn't clear that you should pull off on the side street to check in and drop off luggage before moving your car to the parking ramp across the street. There needs to better signage to have clear directions.

I was very pleased somewhat with the cleanness of the room. However, only place that annoyed me I noticed the television screen needed to be clean and the pictures on the wall. I also had an issue in the shower where the water actually floated from the floor of the shower underneath of the block scrip on the floor into the middle of the floor in the bathroom but a pipe was there in case of flooding. We had to put down towels to absorbed it.

We only stayed one night but the room and hotel were clean. The kitchen was well equipped. They had free breakfast which was good. The foid needed to be reheated but the choices were good for a free breakfast.
