The rooms were very neat and clean. The breakfast was very good with a variety of things to pick from. Kyndra, the young lady that checked us in was very pleasant and courteous. She smiled the entire time and you could tell she enjoyed her job. Maria, the young lady that helped us with explaining to us about a charge on our bill was very knowledgeable and pleasant. We had a very good experience at this hotel. I would recommend it.

PROS: The facilities: The room and hotel seem very new. The facility is well taken care of and clean. The amenities in the room are very nice. There were two elevators that were always available and were pretty quick. The layout is very logical and clean (easy to find your room). Inside the room: There was a full size refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher; Basically, everything and the kitchen sink. The bathroom was modern and shower was very nice. The room was extremely spacious and luxurious. The staff was great! The front desk was friendly and helpful and were able to answer any questions i had. The breakfast was very nice and equivalent to some of the better hotels i've stayed. CONS: The only detractors that I found were: The parking. Parking says free, and it is if you park on the street, but the hotel parking lot charges $20 a night. Which is not listed in the hotel information. However, the location is regularly patrolled by municipal police and the area seems generally safe and secluded if not in an older/abandoned part of down. There is a train that goes by nearly every 2 - 3 hours and honks it's horn loudly. You can hear it easily over the A/C. However, there are other hotels that charge 2 or 3 times as much as the Home2 Suites that are subject to the same thing in the area, so it's just a thing. The only other thing i found as a detractor, but it's really not a big thing, is EVERYTHING outside the room is extra cost (workout room, etc...).

Only issue was the garbage disposal was locked up. Couldn’t run it to clear out whatever was in there. Odor was bad. Had to keep the drain cover on to keep the stink out of the room. Also, there was a problem with the parking lot arms. They never worked consistently either going in or out. They must get that fixed!

Nice hotel and the price was OK. Please be aware that parking is $20 a day and not free as the website says.

The room had a nice layout w/ a kitchenette, attached living room, & a separate bedroom. The bathroom was relatively spacious, shower-only, brightly lit, & had a vanity w/ shelves for the linen. The toilet paper roll was in an awkward position, when positioned on the commode. The breakfast was decent, having sausage, eggs, waffle makers, cereal, pastries, coffee, a yogurt machine, etc. The waffles & yogurt had some fixings to fancy them up, if you like. Upon check-in, we encountered friendly & helpful staff. At checkout, we felt almost invisible. At check-in, the desk personnel told us to take a photo of a QR code w/ our cellphones to use to access the parking lot gate scanner, saying it would work better than a slip of paper that had the code we photographed. However, the phone trick did not allow us to enter the lot. We acquired one of the slips of paper, later, but that didn't work, either. We started driving our compact car around the gate arm. The TV in the bedroom did not work. The gym had a squat rack, cable machine, cardio units, dumb bells, & a water dispenser w/ cups. The room was on the 1st floor, clean, w/ windows facing the street in front of the facility. The customer laundry room was in this area. The parking lot access was our biggest issue, but it would have been nice to watch TV in bed, as well. It should be noted that not every floor had a working ice machine. Overall, we found the facility to be clean & modern, but we had some quibbles.

The room could have been cleaner. The shower floor was dirty. Yhe shower drain was loose and dirty. The tiled part of the floor was dirty. The window was dirty. The pillows were worn down. The manager falsified information saying guests could go next door to swim. That was not true. I was disappointed with that information. The hotel not having a pool is not good.

The room was excellent but in 4 days we never had a room refreshed or renewed or cleaned. Not even trash and towels. I finally stopped at front desk and complained but they still didn’t do anything but hand me some towels. Second the breakfast was horrible. The muffins were edible but dry. The other food we tried was awful. Poorly prepared and horrible choices. Third. They charged me for the whole stay the first night which was expected. After I checked out they charged me another $185 for no reason. I was still in town and stopped by to get it straightened out. They claimed they hadn’t charged me at all that it was from hotels.com. I know this is not true because the charges were from Hilton not Hotels.com. I also asked for a copy of the bill which they said they could not provide. Something very fishy going on that hotel. I think it’s fraud. I know get to waste my time disputing the charge on my Mastercard. DO NOT STAY THERE. The hotel was very clean and comfortable but all the other problems ruined our stay. At least my team won the tournament we were there to see.

The hotel front desk staff was amazing. However the bathroom wasn’t clean. I didn’t enjoy getting in the shower to pubic hairs. I assume the cleaning staff didn’t fully clean the room, the previous persons room key was still in the room. We arrived after all restaurants closed forced to get food in the hotel “pantry” the owner should be charged with treason. Charging $9.00 for a beef jerky stick that you can buy for 1.25 at the dollar tree, and $10.00 for Red Barron pizza’s that you can also buy in any dollar tree for less than 3.00. Charging $12.00 for a bottle of water that is also found in the dollar tree for less than $2.00. The owner should be ashamed of himself. The world has it hard enough and you are robbing people and are a disgusting human doing what you’re doing, while I’m very certain your under paying the fantastic staff you have, the ones who have never seen your face, because I asked them. Your front desk staff is amazing, and they should all quit- go to a company who has core values better than the treason you commit everyday by robbing people to feed your face.
