Lovely lobby, chill atmosphere, fun games and art, complimentary drinks, easy parking arrangements off site but close by, wonderful location. Highly recommend. This did not deter us, but it did not have a mini fridge, which might have come in handy for us.

I enjoyed both the location and the charm of the Hood River Hotel. As the hotel is over a hundred years old it's layout and amenities brought out feelings in me from a bygone era! The breakfast that I had was delightful with a hearty selection on the menu and it was tasty! Unfortunately, trying to get a morning cup of coffee in my room was impossible as trying to brew a cup was a challenge that 'bested' me! Finally, the broken roller switches on the electric cords to the wall mounted lamps, on each side of the bed, worried me as the building is old and the egress window would have been difficult to use in an emergency. The staff were very helpful and they were polite! All in all I would enjoy staying in the hotel again! Jim

Location can't be beat, super walkable. Floors squeak, train is very nearby, freeway is very nearby, but the location (!). I had to turn off the floor aircon to sleep. Street parking is free overnight 6pm-8am and plentiful. Breakfast/resto does not open until 8am (!) but there are two excellent coffee shops nearby that open at 6am (Ground) and 6:30 (Freshies) and serve breakfast. Great water pressure, comfy bed. Would return.

They say the Spirit has been there. Or a spirit has resided there. Not sure if its true, but great memories of taking a shower in the "old" house, we used to call home oh not so long ago. So... I guess to say it simply, I felt at Home. Thank you Team in the most beautiful Hood River, Oregon!
