Excellent waterfront restaurant, hotel and amenities (pool, sauna, fire pits, bikes, etc) which have been recently renovated and are beautiful. Amazing place to stay walking distance from the cute village, marina, etc. Would highly recommend!

Overall great stay at Marina Riviera. Amenities & De La Nona were great. Just beware they do not have an iron but they do have a steamer. Overall great experience.

We stayed here over the 4th of July weekend and had a great experience overall. The room was spacious, comfortable, and having a mini fridge was a nice bonus. Coffee is available in the lobby, which didn't bother us, although some guests may prefer an in room coffee maker. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the main street with easy access to the lake and boat rentals. The restaurant on the property is also fantastic. The pizzas are delicious! We especially enjoyed watching the fireworks from our balcony, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. A couple of areas could use some attention. The curtains and wool blanket could use a thorough cleaning. It's a dog friendly hotel. Our biggest complaint was the music. It's a beautiful, peaceful location, so it was disappointing that loud music started playing before 8 both mornings. One day it began at 7:15 and the next at 7:45 (day after the fireworks). We were looking forward to enjoying a quiet cup of coffee on the balcony, but the loud music made that difficult. The pool music was also louder than necessary. Despite that, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely consider returning.

I was wowed from start to finish staying here. My husband was quite impressed as well. From the cedar sauna and cold plunge experience to the expert made cocktails at the bar, this hotel never failed to amaze. I really loved the lake view balcony. Friendly staff, too!

Perched where the rugged timber meets the glassy expanse of the lake, Hotel Marina Riviera is a masterclass in atmospheric alchemy. It feels as though a chic, mid-century modern salon collided beautifully with a high-toned, rustic American West outpost. The architecture honors the soaring terrain of Big Bear, using clean, geometric lines that trace the slope of the mountains, while the interior hums with a quiet, bespoke luxury. Smooth, high-end finishes—polished walnut and rich leathers—marry flawlessly with the coarse honesty of native stone. The crown jewel of this alpine sanctuary is its sublime wellness experience, an immaculate haven for the body and spirit. Here, the contrast therapy is poetic magic. You can purge the high-altitude chill in the deep, enveloping heat of the saunas, or melt into the bubbling, starry embrace of the outdoor hot tub. For the ultimate awakening, the shock of the pristine cold plunge cuts through fatigue like mountain air, shocking the senses into absolute, vibrant life. Steps away, the sparkling pool acts as a gateway to the elements. For those who hear the siren call of open water, the seamless transition from resort luxury to an open swim across the vast, pristine lake is utterly liberating. Through it all, the views are a visual symphony—the lake stretching out like hammered silver, cradled by a dark fortress of pines. The staff embodies the very spirit of the altitude: completely chill, attentive, and entirely devoid of pretension.

Great stay - would definitely come back! Their dock wasn’t in use during our stay (under construction), but otherwise a great experience. Very well located - walkable to most of the shops and restaurants in Big Bear. Very clean and friendly staff.

Absolutely stunning place. So convenient to local shopping, restaurant and activities but feels so secluded! Right next to a park which my kids loved. I appreciated the intentional design, the cold plunge, sauna, gym, pool, convenience to Marina for a boat rental. I appreciated the quality of linens (parachute, piglet, quince) and luxury soaps that everyone in my family raced over the smells! We will definitely be back and hope to visit other casetta hotels!!!

Such a fabulous stay. Everyone was friendly and acted like they truly wanted to be there, which is hard to find in the service industry these days. Maybe it's the magic of the place floating around, because it truly was a magical place to stay. Clean, fresh, relaxing and a close walk to the village. 11/10 stars and I will definitely be back.
