Definitely a must every time I'm in Ely, what a great piece of history this hotel is. If you want brand new this is not it, but instead you travel back in time. The room was clean and smelled good. The 2 drinks vouchers were also much appreciated 👏

VERY cute/neat hotel. Unique! My husband and I checked out every floor, and every floor was decorated completely different. Our only disappointment was that Denny's was gone and there was no where (within walking distance) to grab breakfast. Would definitely recommend the hotel, though.

The restaurant was going through renovations, so we had to jump across the street which was also going through some renovations, to eat but the service was fast and the food was good so no problem there. The best part of this hotel is the aura that takes you back in time. From the small elevator to the narrow hallways we felt as though we had stepped back in time. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable and the paranormal activity was through the roof. I loved this hotel and will definitely be back for the comfort and for another investigation.

The refurbished parts of the hotel are excellent, well thought out and decorated beautifully. The Hotel is aged and the areas not yet refurbished do show that. Overall, it's an excellent stay, the rooms are lovely. Absolutely worth a second stay.

The staff was amazing and helpful. The room was remodeled clean and the bedding and the bed was comfortable, which is what I really needed for a good night sleep.

To be 100% honest, I was a little hesitant when I pulled up to this old building, but got upstairs to the room, and it was amazing. We had been in hotels the whole week before, and this was by far the coolest room we stayed in. It was very updated, comfortable, and a space my whole family of 6 could stay together and not be crowded.

The remodeled rooms were beautiful and comfortable. I appreciated the refrigerator and microwave. The room was clean and everything worked great. The shower never fluctuated!! One suggestion though, buy bigger trash cans. The ones in the room are itty bitty. The lady bartender working Friday night was awesome! I will definitely be back!

The people who worked here were very friendly. They were always willing to help answer questions and fill us in on what was going on. If we could give the staff six stars, we would. The rooms have been updated and are quaint. Could use a few more power outlets. The casino area is somewhat dated.

We really enjoyed our overnight stop at the end of Feb 2026. We stayed in the Waynescott Suite and it was such a warm room with a lot of personality! We definitely recommend this hotel if stopping overnight or staying a few days. We slept so soundly in great beds. Plus the staff was so friendly and helpful. A true of the beaten path gem.
