I’ve stayed at the Icon in Ellensburg twice now and I’ll stay there again when the need arises. We have children who attend Central WA University so we’re in the area quite a bit. Because of Graduation, most of the hotels were completely booked and the rates were way higher than usual at most. I booked the Icon months ago, knowing how busy the area would get. My husband hadn’t stayed with me there before so I was a little nervous that he wouldn’t find it as awesome as our usual (former) go-to hotel in the area. He even said he’d stay here in the future! He commented a few times on the cleanliness and how great the shower was. The bed felt a little firm at first—like stiff memory foam, but once you are settled in, it was great. The room is good sized and has a microwave and a larger than average (for a hotel) fridge. There’s a door between the shower/toilet and the sink so someone can get ready while someone else is in the shower. The hotel itself is mostly self service. You put your info into a little machine that spits out a room key, instead of dealing with front desk staff—as there isn’t really a front desk. There are blankets and things in the lobby to grab yourself if you need anything. You can also call staff if you need something.There are games to use and snacks in vending machines. Cable system is Xumo and wi-fi is fast. There’s a food truck outside and Dutch Bros & Starbucks within close walking range. Would recommend. 😊

Hotel is super well maintained and the hosts very accommodating. We were checking in at 1am and the host was prepared to escort us to our room and get us any accompanyments we needed at such a late hour. Lastly, the beds are incredibly comfortable. 10/10 review.

I never leave reviews but this was so shockingly good I have to. I was in town for Brandi at the gorge, just needed a quick place to sleep, and figured a 2-star hotel would do the trick. This place is fantastic: large room, clean and updated. The manager (I think she said manager) happened to be there when I checked in and she was so nice and helpful. Don’t be put off by the 2 stars and non-chain name, it’s perfect. I will 100% stay there again. (For perspective, I’m mid 50s and travel frequently for both work and personal.)

Perfect place to stay if you are going to the Gorge or hiking in surrounding areas. Room was spacious and the manager/owner is very friendly.

What a cute place! We were pleasantly surprised with our visit. Very clean and comfortable. The only downside is there was massive confusion with communication and the check-in/check-out process, as there is no one at a front desk to greet you, and messages sent from the hotel kept getting blocked by Expedia. But overall, super happy with our stay and would stay again!

We had a wonderful experience staying at Icon Inn! The building is fully renovated, beautifully decorated, and very clean. The manager was very helpful and friendly. We only stayed one night and left early in the morning, so we didn't use any of the facilities, but I saw that they were providing breakfast and the kitchen area was very cozy and nice!

I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Icon Inn. I booked a room and ended up wanting to change to the day before and was completely accommodated with no extra charges. Loft room was perfect for the family, kids watched a movie from upstairs while we saw it downstairs. I also left my tablet in the room and they were very helpful in getting it to me. Things are automated (no front desk clerk) but staff quickly responds to any questions. Thanks for the great, clean stay.

I liked the easy check-in. Room is roomy & super clean. Bed comfy-firm. Simple digs, yet fancy boutique vibes. Bathroom spacious, shower has a great bench to sit on. Great place to land for the night :)
