Marie and Ted were fabulous hosts!! We arrived late (and they were out of the house) and they left very detailed instructions for us in their absence. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We awoke early the next morning to head out and found Ted had made the MOST delicious blueberry muffins. We took a couple of muffins and some coffee with us for our ride up to Mackinac Island. The only issue we encountered was not being able to figure out how to operate the TV in our room but it didn't impact our enjoyment of the space at all.

Great place with wonderful amenities. Ted & Marie are very kind and generous to their guests. Would gladly stay here again. Only (slight) minus is that it is a bit away from downtown, but that could be a plus in many ways too! Loved it here!

Just a note, NOT a complaint! Be aware this is NOT a hotel. I've seen this in other reviews, too. Ted and Marie are WONDERFUL hosts and we enjoyed meeting them and visiting, but you are staying in their house. That said, it's GREAT!! A beautiful home and you'll have your own private bathroom. I highly recommend staying here as long as you're comfortable staying in a house, not a hotel. We LOVED it, even with the bit of a surprise that it's not an actual "inn." Thanks for taking great care of us!

Very enjoyed our 3-day stay at this beautiful bed and breakfast. We enjoyed breakfast, our hosts and the deck on the Lake Michigan beach across the street. Our room was spacious, had a mini frig and view of the lake.

Our stay here was WONDERFUL! Ted and Marie are the most gracious host. They treated us like we were there family. They gave us great suggestions on what to do around town. It was such a peaceful place with wonderful views and great food that we are going back next year.

I had a very pleasant stay- the view from the room was spectacular across the west bay. the house is very cool, the bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was also top notch, eggs in a nest with coffee and bacon. Ted and Marie are fantastic hosts!

Located near Traverse City, Lake Leelanau, Suttons Bay. Quiet. Best breakfast in town! Small dog friendly. We hope to stay again soon. Very nice deck and dock to sit on and view the bay.

We were fortunate enough to stay here for two nights while exploring the city. It is closer to the wineries and not in the middle of town, which was wonderful for us. The proprietors live upstairs. Rooms are on the lower level. The proprietors prepare a tasty, homey breakfast in the shared kitchen and serve dinner alongside visitors. The inn itself was very clean and had a lodge-like vibe. We stayed in the master bedroom with en suite bathroom. The other rooms have private bathrooms, but you must leave the room to use them. A very lovely couple and a beautiful home. I would stay there again!.

The property is located near the wineries and not in the center of the city, which was great for us. The owners reside upstairs. The rooms are on the lower level. The owners use the communal kitchen to cook a delicious homey breakfast and join guests at the table. The inn itself was very clean and had a lodge feel. We stayed in the master bedroom with an en suite bathroom. Other rooms have private bathrooms but you must exit the room to reach them. A very beautiful couple with a lovely home. Would stay again!.

This location is a treasure. This lovely home is well-managed by the gracious and helpful owners, who are right on the bay. The small beach across the street is a unique place to observe the sun rise. It is immaculately clean. Marie serves a delectable and rich breakfast. It is tranquil and cozy, and you can feel like you are staying with family. We anticipate many more visits.

Spent one night in this I! Wonderful home, great rooms, and great hospitality! We enjoyed the company and discussions with the owners of this I. I loved the hot tub and had a fantastic meal. Very welcoming! Great view of the bay!.

This place is a hidden gem. Located directly on the bay, roughly 10 minutes by car from downtown to traverse city, this beautiful home is well managed by its friendly and hospitable owners. It's immaculately clean. Marie serves a delicious and generous breakfast. It is peaceful, comfortable, and feels like you're staying with family. The small beach across the street is a special place to watch the sun rise. We anticipate many subsequent visits.
