This is a lovely motel in a great location. We were given a smaller room because the room we booked was remodeled. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel for a trip to San Francisco. This room was extremely tidy and comfortable. The bed was excellent and cozy, and the bathroom had all the amenities of a contemporary hotel, but this one lacks modernity, which is what gives it a sense of charm. The hotel is in a great position, walking distance to great retail and public transportation, cable cars are a must-take-drive and will transport you down to the piers for great dining and fun. Overall, this is a great hotel to stay at when you're in San Francisco. The next time I'm in town, I know where I'll stay.

From the time we arrived to the time we left, we had the best customer service ever. The manager and staff were charming and friendly and went above and beyond for us. They were really there for us and attended to our every need. Our room was spacious and had a skylight and a window that opened, which I love when I slumber with one open. The bathroom and shower were lovely and hot with great pressure. In addition to comfort and service, the Kensington is conveniently located! In Union Square. At the trolley stop. Theaters are also nearby. There are numerous top-notch restaurants within walking distance, whether it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It's a terrific place to stay.

A boutique hotel blending the old world charm of the Gothic style with the latest conveniences. The rooms are large with all necessary amenities. Housekeeping is done on alternate days upon request due to the standard. The receptionists are attentive and pleasant. The tariff does not include breakfast, but there is tea and coffee service in the lounge from 7 am to 10 am. We loved the location because it had a vocational advantage, it was close to Union Square, and restaurants and shopping malls were only a short walk away. Highly recommend the hotel to those looking for short stays.

A short distance from a lot of restaurants and convenience stores, the hotel is strategically located near Union Square, where tour buses stop or pick up tourists. There are numerous food delivery options for 247 if you just want to relax in your hotel room. We had no problems because the location was so safe. The staff is friendly and incredibly welcoming. The room does not have air conditioning, however, you can change the window to let some cool air in. Room service is also only offered upon request.
