Located on the Banks of Tonto Creek in the largest Ponderosa Pine Forest in the world, the hotel is historically famous for its western hospitality. The hotel is in Payson, Arizona, at the base of the Mogollon Rim in the area that author Zane Grey made famous with his popular adventures of the Old West. There are shops and restaurants nearby. Phoenix is approximately two hours' drive from the hotel and the Grand Canyon is around 4 hours by car. The friendly and casual atmosphere of the hotel will make each stay an inviting experience where guests can enjoy a classic stay in Arizona's back country. Event facilities consist of a meeting/conference room and banquet facilities. The staff can arrange concierge services, tour/ticket assistance, wedding services and event catering. Additional amenities include multilingual staff and gift shops/news stands. This air-conditioned hotel comprises a total of 66 rooms. Guests are welcomed in the lobby, which offers a 24-hour reception, as well as a hotel safe. Guests arriving by car may leave their vehicles in the hotel car park. The rooms open out to balconies. Guest rooms have televisions with satellite channels and DVD players. All accommodation units provide telephones and have kitchenettes with microwaves, fridges, coffee/tea makers and cookware, dishes and utensils. The en suite bathrooms offer shower/tub combinations, hairdryers and complimentary toiletries.
