I really liked the mini mart. There were some items I forgot to pack, but I was able to purchase them at the mini mart.

A buried treasure in this out of the way town. It was possible to thoroughly enjoy your vacation without leaving the property. The price was beyond reasonable

Clean room. Good ambience. Felt homely. Nice to see old artefacts. The baby geese were adorable. Lovely staff, really friendly.

Longstreet Inn is a seriously quirky place in the middle of nowhere…and we love it. The hotel rooms are basic but clean. But the property has some fun aspects that few other lodgings have. A casino. Lounge singer on weekends. A big duck pond in the back. A little western chapel for weddings. And a “petting zoo” with goats, donkeys, and a water buffalo. There’s an official casino cat, “Jackpot”. Well-behaved dogs are welcome not just in the hotel, but in the casino too. There is a nice cafe that serves American comfort food at reasonable prices. And a well-maintained pool. So if you want a getaway from the big city, or dark skies for stargazing, or the best base for exploring Death Valley, this is it! It has an RV park too, if that’s the way you roll 😊.

After a long drive in dry desert, the large building atrium with casino and restaurant and convenient store was such a breather. Nest partners the man made lake, gazebos, photo op structures, and large parking. Restaurant was not expensive and good options. There was a bar in atrium and drinks weee nominally priced. Location was great to visit spots in Death Valley.

This place is like an oasis, very close to Death Valley. After camping in the park for a few days, getting a room, with shower and a toilet, at a reasonable price, was a blessing. They offer gasoline at Nevada prices, and good food in their restaurant. I highly recommend.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. They make you feel comfortable as soon as you check-in. The food was decent. The room was comfortable as well. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

This was our 2nd stay in 3 years. On both visits the check-in desk didn't seem very friendly or helpful but the girls in the restaurant did a great job. The rooms are nothing fancy but the location more than makes up for everything. Cute historical property in a stunning location.
