I booked a room with king bedroom in the last minutes and came to check in by 11pm with my family. I did call ahead to let them know my late arrival. The staff was very cordial and prepared for my arrival. They allocated me a room very quick. They gave me a 2 queen bedroom with a big couch chair. The room was very sapcious and had all amenities of a small kitchen. Really like the place. Would come back for sure.

The room had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows just the right amount of fluffiness. We were able to park near our room so that it was easy to bring the dogs in and out. It was quiet and we appreciated the complementary coffee in the lobby. All around a great day. Our first time at my place, but not our last!

We were struggling to find a hotel on our way to the Badlands because everything was already booked. We came across My Place Hotel in Mitchell, South Dakota, on Expedia and decided to give it a try. It ended up being a hidden gem. The price was very affordable for a Saturday night, especially compared to other nearby hotels that were already sold out. We stayed in a king room, and everything felt new, clean, and well maintained. One of the standout features was the nearly full kitchen setup, which included a full-size refrigerator and freezer, sink, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and stovetop. The bed was comfortable, and I especially appreciated that it came with two blankets, which is surprisingly rare. The pillows were comfortable as well, and our third-floor end room was very quiet. The hotel also offers ample parking and is conveniently located. Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend My Place Hotel in Mitchell to anyone traveling through the area.

Best shower ever! Everything in spotless "like new" condition. Friendly and helpful staff. 2 garages available to rent on a daily basis, reasonable cost, perfect for my stay with likely severe weather. Great location near several fast foods, gas stations, and next to Cabela's. Cannot recommend any higher!!!

I have to say this I was pleasantly surprised with our first ever stay at a My Place hotel. Normally, I do not book hotels without breakfast. This was in a location along our road trip. I think it might have been one of the cleanest hotels we stayed in along our 3 week road trip. Even though I like a morning breakfast, I was okay without it. They do provide coffee. It was nice to see there was a small kitchenette and full size refrigerator for those that might want to eat in. They did not have any pots, pans, dishes or cooking utensils, so you would have to plan. I was impressed by my first stay here!
