I stayed at the Viking on August 22 for four nights. It's a lovely little motel, with very clean rooms and larger facilities than most motels. From the housekeeping to the receptionist, the entire crew is very nice and goes above and beyond to make your stay there enjoyable. Also fantastic is the location. Only two blocks away is a palmar market. Although this is not one of those big resorts, they are oceanfront and have a beautiful and spotless pool and grills outside for your lookouts.

I've recently stayed at a motel and decided to stay here for the first time to prepare a holiday meal. I can honestly say that my experience was fantastic, the kitchenette was the right size, fully equipped with dishes, utensils, and pots and pans. I enjoyed being able to take in the ocean while I cooked and prepared the meal. I'll be back soon because I'm a repeat customer. Just wish there was more parking available by the street.

I have stayed at the viking several times over the years. Never experienced an issue. I always reserved ocean front. I had never been on a side view before because kids enjoy looking out and having a private balcony. But because this was a brief four-night trip, we could only have a side view. The first impression is that the room was quite clean, but it smelled very musty. I was going to call the front desk to inquire about another room, but the phone didn't work. When I went to the office to inquire about another room, it was told that was all they had. I did notice that several rooms were empty. The one beside me. The shower was not working, but the maintenance technician did come to try his best to fix it as soon as he could. He said, Oh well, this is the best you will get water was only a drip from the shower, so we had to sit down and take a bath. There was no microwave or toaster. When I inquired about the microwave and toaster. The lady in the office told me that the rooms no longer have those items. I told the lady I had only been here for a week ocean front only a month ago and had those items in the room. She said, We do not offer those items anymore due to the power supply. I asked for a blanket and gave something that looked
