Although the house is almost 200 years old, it has been extensively updated to where it is very comfortable. Elizabeth is very accommodating and provides an excellent breakfast. The home is in an excellent neighborhood and convenient to all parts of Cape Cod. This is where we would stay if we return to Cape Cod.

My husband and I spent a wonderful Autumn weekend at the Old Captain's Inn. We found the location to be excellent, the room to be very comfortable and quiet, the breakfast was absolutely delicious and the hostess was so personable and helpful. We will definitely stay again!

A historical building with a memorable renovation ! The proprietors are meticulous, warm, friendly and yet professional in every way. The charm of the Inn has the perfect Cape cod feel but doesn’t leave out every modern amenity. It’s close to everything you want to do and quaint and quiet. I would recommend it as well as hope to return again myself 😀

My sister and I stayed for 3 nights. The owner was so welcoming and accommodating with special requests and researching places for us to eat and see. We definitely recommend Old Captain’s Inn. Such a warm, friendly place to stay in the Cape.

I’m not sure what was best. The location, our host Elizabeth or the lovely BNB itself. Walkable distance to great dining, and a short drive to the beach, shopping and brewery. Delicious homemade breakfast started each day and we were off from there! Host/owner Elizabeth did a wonderful job decorating the historical property and was a delight to chat with. We will be returning for years to come. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Everything about this B&B was lovely! Beautifully decorated, top of the line linens. Every little detail was thought of to make your stay special. Elizabeth was a friendly and warm woman who makes you feel very welcome. Would recommend to friends and family looking for a quality B&B.

There is nothing that could have been done to improve our stay at the Olde Captains Inn. The history of the inn is magnificent! The proprietor...Elizabeth...paid attention and took care of our every need. If you're going to Cape Cod, a stay at the Olde Captains Inn is a must!

The Inn was beautiful! From the moment you step up onto the front porch lined with rocking chairs, into the inviting foyer there is an immediate sense of calm from the traffic on the Cape. The owners Elizabeth and Jay are just wonderful, I can’t say enough about how well we were treated by them. The decore through out the Inn is beautiful and there is a lot of antiques and coastal artwork. All the rooms in the house were decorated by Elizabeth and she has done a fantastic job! The beds were comfy and the bathroom along with the rest of the place was spotless. There is also a bank, a restaurant, an ice cream shop, and a very scenic marsh within walking distance from the Inn. I will be staying there again in the future.

This was our first B&B experience and we were truly impressed. We thought it might be awkward staying in someone else’s home but it most definitely was not. The house was beautifully decorated and had a great nostalgic feel. The bed was comfortable and all the linens were incredibly soft. Definitely was above my expectations for linens :) the food was delicious and healthy and just the overall comfort was amazing. The owners are super friendly and knowledgeable about the town; things to do and places to see. Our morning chats with the owners was always a delight. Definitely will stay there again! Thank you!!
