We loved staying at the Palace Hotel. The staff was very friendly and gracious, as were the townspeople. The decor was old-fashioned, clean, spacious, and the vibe was just right! There was also a well-stocked game room and library.

Hotel has rich, interesting history and has a B&B feel. Interior keeps with the unique Victorian style and various sitting spaces on all the levels add to the charm. With ceilings close to twenty feet tall, natural light is abound. Would recommend to anyone who appreciates these sorts of things.

If you are looking for a unique place to stay, this place fits. The common areas are designed in early period decoration. We only stayed the night but it was perfect for our stay. It was right in the middle of everything we needed in town.

Beautiful building and rooms. Quiet and comfortable nice parking out back. Real gem of hotel in heart of port Townsend. Note they do not have an Elevator, but will Cayey bags up to room for you.

Great location and very well maintained property. Service was top notch with a very friendly staff. Rooms are quaint and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. The claw foot tub in the bathroom could pose a challenge for older people or people with limited mobility. We would stay here again in the future.

The Palace Hotel is a lovely old Victorian Hotel with beautiful woodwork, stained glass, flowered wallpaper and lace curtains. Our room was on the 3rd floor with a gorgeous view of Port Townsend harbor, with a private bath,and a small kitchenette. The king size bed was very comfortable. There is a grand old stairway to climb with luggage as there is no elevator. A parking pass is issued for the parking lot to the rear of the building. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is centrally located on the Main Street of Port Townsend with numerous restaurants and shops nearby, as well as the beach, harbor and ferries.

Loved the historic build and decor, high-ceilinged room, and common spaces — even used the second floor library to do remote work for several hours late one night. Large bathroom with nice fixtures. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great stay.

Spectacular old hotel! Our top floor room Had a small but nice/ functional kitchen, separate loft sleeping area and wonderful views of the sound. No elevator or ac so a bit warm and a bit of a haul to get your stuff up and down but well worth the effort. We were there in the off season, (May), so traffic from Main Street ( Water st) Was quiet but could be quite noisy during busier times. Awesome and informed front desk staff.

The Palace Hotel is very conveniently located right in the middle of the historic district of Port Townsend. The hotel itself has a great and varied history, and each room is decorated to reflect the history of the hotel. Our bed was comfortable, our room was clean, and the two flights of stairs on were a lot, we for sure got all our steps in! Port Townsend is friendly and charming, and has several delicious restaurants to choose from!
