This was a new experience for me. It is a very small 12 room (as far as I could tell) hotel. It is within comfortable walking distance of everything downtown Santa Fe has to offer. The room, was clean and comfortable. There is one exception, the coffee table, which I was told was being addressed so I won't go into details. It was so quiet and I never heard people walking down halls and shutting doors. I didn't get to dine at the restaurants but they smelled amazing. Make sure you read the email you receive a few days before. It is self check in and parking. There is not a staff on site, but a very responsive phone number. The parking garage, once entering go the furthest back you can and take the elevator with the tile floor. The will let you off on Marcy. I highly recommend.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the property or the staff. The only thing I was missing was a fan noise and being able to make the room colder than 65°. Other than that everything was perfect! So quiet and clean, easy coffee maker. Feels special to stay there!

We had a wonderful stay at Palace Modern Hotel. Everything was great from start to finish. The hotel was clean, modern, comfortable, and very well maintained. The location made it easy to enjoy everything Santa Fe has to offer. We really appreciated the relaxing atmosphere and attention to detail throughout our stay. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Santa Fe area!

We liked this hotel a lot! . It was well maintained. . It was clean. . It was a perfect location to the square. . The bed was comfortable. . The amenities smelled lovely! There was even provided a makeup remover wipe which worked beautifully and a wash rag specifically for taking makeup off! Cons: The parking garage was 2 blocks away. It was complimentary though. The room was a little tight. The bathroom door opened into the bed. If you are working at the desk, no one could walk past you. The bathroom shower didn’t have a door and there was no bath mat provided, so the floor got a little wet! All that said, this hotel would most definitely be a place I would stay again. We were able to work around all the negatives.

It’s a beautiful and unusual place to stay with no staff on premises since its self check in and check out. Convenient parking in public garage about three blocks away is included in price. A bit hard to find, but worth it for its central location near the plaza and has restaurants, coffee shop and gallery which is its lobby all on the premises or next door. Rooms are impeccably finished and very quiet. Took just a minute to get used to the code access to lobby and room. Recommend if you like the boutique hotel experience and if central location is paramount.

This is actually the first hotel review I’ve ever written even though i travel 3-5 times a year—and I felt it was warranted. I travel often and usually stay at 4-star hotels or better, so I tend to have pretty high standards. This property exceeded expectations. It was extremely clean, very well managed, and everything felt thoughtfully maintained. Don’t be alarmed that there’s no traditional front desk. They provide a phone number and email, and they are incredibly responsive—honestly more attentive than many staffed desks I’ve encountered. I had seen a few comments about the bathroom not being private, but there is a curtain that fully blocks visibility. If you want extra privacy, you can easily turn on the TV or ask your guest to step out—there’s a comfortable lobby area available as well. The property also felt very safe. There is parking available—while it’s off-site, it’s an easy 3–5 minute walk. There’s also a convenient loading/unloading area right in front of the hotel, so you can drop off your bags before parking. The location is hard to beat—about a 3–5 minute walk to the Santa Fe Plaza, restaurants, and major tourist spots. Overall: clean, well-run, responsive, safe, and perfectly located. Highly, highly recommend.

Very clean and beautifully decorated room. The one thing that really threw me off was the parking garage is two blocks away. Very grateful to have parking in this area but wish I would have known how far it was before I booked, as a solo female it was uncomfortable walking back to my room, the parking its self has security and was very safe.

It was pretty as you can see online, but there were some inconveniences. One is for parking. You had to get a card out of your room and then drive about a block away to a parking garage and use the card to get into the garage. And the garage is closed at night. The other thing is, I was in room 12 and in the early morning hours, every so often there was a tapping or knocking sound in the wall between me and the other room. Thankfully, I knew that the sound was because of the heating ducts so when the night is cold and the heater would go on, it would make that sound. The owners might find a simple fix for that online, I found something about moving the heating unit outside, that can kind of adjust the duct system. I chose this hotel because of the newer construction, and I’m very sensitive to mold and artificial fragrances that can be in some hotels. And it did seem to be free from those things. But I couldn’t get a very good sleep because of the tapping sound. It would also be nice if the windows could open a little bit to get some fresh air in there, along with a screen. This is a niche hotel that would be good for some people that would enjoy the nice artsy neighborhood, but have plenty of energy. And it’s not very disability accessible because of the downtown parking situation. Other than the tapping noise in my wall it was quiet in the hotel. I also brought my loud air purifier with me but that didn’t cover the tapping noise.

Property had no luggage cards. I’m parking was about three blocks away. This was a virtual hotel room, but nothing was mentioned about the parking being so far away they just said it was nearby. Three blocks to me is not nearby. Property is probably not good for older renters
