The location was ideal, with several hiking trails close by. We stayed in small tent cabins and had dinner there each night. The staff was very friendly and responsive. Definitely the best deal in Death Valley!.

The historic cabins are lovely and tidy, with the exception of the carpet, which was slightly gloomy because of the sand being tracked in. However, they had very limited WiFi and no wifi. When I tried to adjust the fan, the electrics gave me a shock. For a 3-night stay, only one roll of toilet paper was provided. When we asked, these issues were resolved, but we had to ask! The staff was helpful, and the bar aspect of the pub and eatery was excellent. However, the food was awful and inedible, but it wasn't.

All year in November, I come to Panamint Springs to camp and offload in Death Valley with some friends. Panamint Springs Resort is much quieter than stove pipe wells and furnace creek and therefore much more relaxed. I used to enjoy saws much better but now that it's more expensive, per is a better value.
