The staff was absolutely lovely. A storm came through and knocked out the power right before we checked in so our TV didn’t work although the tech was onsite doing her best to resolve the issue, she was unsuccessful. Also one shower wall had buckled so a curtain was placed to hide the buckled wall. Please know the staff more than makes up for the minor issues, they are above and beyond.

The property is quite new; it was very clean & well maintained. Super air conditioning!! Great little kitchen that was well stocked with all utensils & cleaning supplies. Bed was very comfortable (though we stayed only one night). Breakfast was pretty standard. We will definitely come back!

The person who checked me in was very friendly and the room was beyond expectations. Everything was brand new and very comfortable. We walked to the event we attended at the civic center and the surroundings felt very safe. Best hotel I have stayed in and the price was very reasonable...great breakfast, kid friendly and was the best part of our trip! Beautiful place and great people...thank you for your hospitality!

Our stay was great! The manager is so incredible helpful and super sweet! If I had to find 1 thing wrong it was that there were parking issues, but there was an event the weekend we went so that was part of the problem. Everything else was wonderful!

The room was amazing, very clean and spacious! Shout out Charles, he helped tremendously with getting access into our room after key card troubles. The breakfast assortment was delicious and had everything we were looking for. Will definitely be back next year!

Very clean room and lobby. The lobby was great for hanging out and watching the news and Wheel of Fortune! The morning breakfast was well balanced with a good variety of foods that weren't all pastries. The pickleball court was a lot of fun. We didn't visit the indoor pool, but there were a lot of people in there while we played pickleball. The provided shampoo in the shower smelled great and the conditioner made my hair soft. If we ever return to Waxahachie, we will be staying here.

My husband called to ask if the indoor pool was heated and they told him it was. Ummm… no! The area was heated but the water was cold. There were no towels in the pool area and the shower to rinse off was cold. Also, to dry your wet clothes in the dryer is $3 for 45 minutes. My granddaughters shorts didn’t dry so I had to hang them The dishes in the cabinet were dirty so, I had to wash them before I could even use them. The side door didn’t shut and latch when going in and out unless you pulled the door shut or pushed it shut so, anyone could go into the hotel without a door key. I’m glad we brought our pillows because they do not provide firm pillows, it would have taken 3 pillows stacked to get a good nights sleep We were left less than 1/2 roll of paper towels with no extra in the room. There were 4 of us in the room and, we had pizza for supper. There wasn’t hardly any soap for dishes or washing pizza hands and only 1 facial cleansing soap bar in the bathroom. The room accommodates 5 people yet there were only 3 towels I should have got a cheaper hotel but, my husband is terminal with less than a year to enjoy what he can. He wanted to go back to the renaissance one more time and wanted the trip to be nice for him. He went to the front desk to complain but, I told him I could do reviews vs. talking to a manager and it going no where. The price is NOT worth the stay if you were looking into their amenities. Kids stomped above us till after 11 and before dawn

1st room assigned too was 85 degrees when we went in on a hot summer day and none of the plugs were working. Got assigned another room and the bathroom and shower were just dirty. Not like a lot of the other Residence Inns visited. But overall okay stay.

We stayed here for one night. The facility is new and everything was clean and had that new smell. Unfortunately, there is a small tennis/basketball court right in front of the room we stayed in. We were on the 1st floor, room 127. The court is literally within 5-10 feet of the room. We heard a bouncing ball and loud screams until 10:30pm. When I called the front desk at 9pm to find out what time we could expect the loud noise to stop, I was told 10:30pm. This is way too late in my opinion. We had to play our TV very loud and the noise of a bouncing ball and loud screaming overpowered our evening. In addition, our TV in the living room area would not upload and we couldn’t use it. That was even after I asked for help and the young man at the front desk came down to reset it. I definitely would not recommend staying here or in the very least, nowhere near room 127.
