I recently stayed at Riggs Washington DC, and my experience was fantastic from start to finish. The entire staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The excellent service began at check in, where Dimitry at the front desk made us feel genuinely welcome. The entire front desk team was outstanding throughout our stay. A special thank you to Garnett, the Bell Captain, who was incredibly helpful, friendly, and service oriented. I would also like to recognize Mohamed, the Front Desk Supervisor, who went above and beyond to make our stay even more enjoyable. His attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction were truly appreciated. The breakfast was very good, and the restaurant offered a comfortable and inviting atmosphere that made each morning enjoyable. We also visited the beautiful basement bar, which had a great ambiance, although it was quite loud during our visit. The only disappointment was that the rooftop was not operating during our stay. We were looking forward to experiencing it and hope it will be available on our next visit. Overall, Riggs Washington DC delivered an exceptional experience, thanks largely to its outstanding team. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning on my next trip to Washington, DC.

This place is amazing! The best location! Really unique rooms and decor. Very quiet. Complimentary bottled water each night and complimentary champagne at check-in! Also an amazing speakeasy in the basement and great breakfast restaurant. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

a lovely hotel in the center of Washington DC, with very nice and comfortable rooms. They offered a glass of champagne upon check-in which was very nice. Loved the robes and slippers in the room. Rooms are quiet and well appointed. I loved having a table and chairs that were comfortable. Some suggestions- can the complementary in-room coffee have big cups instead of just the espresso-size cups. I made two and it was still NOT enough. And, can the in-room thermostat work? Mine was turned off and set at 68 degrees. BRRRRR.... And lighting in the room could have been better. Mostly reading lamps that were VERY BRIGHT (which is welcome), but how about a real lamp instead on one of the two bedside tables?

We were welcomed with a glass of champagne or rose. Our room was comfortable and delightfully decorated, including thoughtful and useful items like an umbrella and tote bag. We ordered a quick dinner in Cafe Riggs. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. Staff was attentive and very friendly.
