Overall, a decent location to stay and I would stay again. I was a little hesitant when I stayed here because of the evaluations that some claimed there were roaches, no towels, and dirty sheets. And I rarely stay in a place with less than four stars. But a friend rented it without reading other reviews on other sites. Anyway, neither my room nor the other rooms of the people I traveled with had any insects. The sheets were clean. And they provided us with plenty of clean towels, more than in high-star hotels. Claro wipes were used to wipe down our room 405, even the floor and the doors down, just to make sure germs were gone. The carpet outside in the hallways was dirty, and a few of the outside doors were dirty, but people party and are messy. I didn't care if my room was tidy, which it was. Excellent ocean view loved the small lazy river, it was also spotless. People were always in the hot pools, so I couldn't use them. You must pay for a chair by the ocean, which I didn't think was fair and should come with the hotel.

After reading some of the reviews, I was concerned, but I was unpleasantly delighted when we arrived over the summer weekend. Our room was ready, spotless, and with a fully equipped kitchen. A maintenance worker inspected our inoperable phone and when we saw him that night and mentioned another small issue, he immediately arrived and fixed it. The lamps next to the bed weren't working, but the room was pleasant. We saw no problems with other visitors, and the reception personnel was really friendly. It also had a fully equipped kitchen, and our daughter and her husband had no issues with their room either. If you wanted, fresh towels were provided every day. The pool and lazy river appeared to be spotless each day, and the beach was cleaned each day. The differences in cleanliness and maintenance might be explained because rooms appear to be owned and controlled by different organizations. Ours was handled by the hotel.
