When we first arrived, I was a little worried- mild odor in older, remodeled hotel, poor Verizon service, intermittent WiFi, and very firm mattresses in our suite. The odor dissipated quickly with the windows open, the internet was better the next day, and apparently we sleep fine on firm mattresses. We would definitely stay there again because of the close proximity to Sequoia National Park, the kitchenette in our room (and shared kitchen elsewhere too), the free laundry area, and the free river access just a short walk away. You could really sense that there was a lot of work going on to make this place great (shared spaces would have just been another income generating room elsewhere). Our kids loved the game room too on a rainy day!

Spacious room. Nicely decorated. Wifi was great especially since we had no signal on our phones. Firm bed. Fridge and microwave in room. Shower tub was wide and had non slip surface! Nice towels and washcloths. Cotton balls and qtips at sink. Keurig coffee maker in room. TV had some caching issues but, hey, we were up on a mountain. The office is a nice retreat with coffee, and and a peaceful atmosphere. They had 3 outdoor patios to chill out as well and many seats outside your doors. The community kichen has cookware. Game room has Nintendo, Pac-Man and Foosball. Laundry room has a washer, drier and detergent. The river access is down the block, walkable. There is a picnic table and lounge chair at the river for use. Overall this place is the perfect place to kick back, relax and forget your worries.

Very good room, excellent service, clean room and environment. The outside part was my favorite and I enjoyed the view with my cup of coffee.

Called the Manager because we were unsure if we arrive late for checkin. They were very friendly to prepare a check in after hours. Room was clean and furnished very cute, we liked it a lot. Clearly you can see it‘s an older building which has been refurbished, but it’s very nice, near to Sequoia NP and everything you need is available: Kitchen, Toaster & Microwave, water & coffee as well as a laundry area. We also liked the outdoor seating areas to enjoy weather, food and drinks :) We just had a short stay but definitely we would come back if we visit Sequoia NP another time.

We chose Sequoia Village because it was pet friendly and also because they have a community kitchen that made it easy for us to cook a few meals for ourself. The room was very cute and comfortable and I know the new owners are investing quite a bit in upgrading the entire hotel. If there was one thing we felt the room was missing, it was storage. There is no dresser, closet or even hooks for getting things off the floor or couch. With a little creativity I think the rooms could be outfitted with a wardrobe and a dresser so some baggage could be put away. The shelf unit that has been put in the room has small little spaces that just aren’t easy to use and are full of decor, which looks charming and cute but takes away even more of the space. We made it work fine but I thought I’d pass this note along for the owners to consider. Overall, we loved our stay and proximity to the park. We had a couple of great meals in Three Rivers aside from using the kitchen and found the owner of sequoia village to be a delightful guy who is making this hotel into a community experience for people who stay, with a patio firepit, games and hangout spaces that allow guests to mingle (we meet other travelers from three different countries!). A fun place!

Unique property & close to park entrance. Iffy TV reception but I rarely watch so no big deal to me. Access to river was a nice perk. Staff was excellent. I would stay here again.

We had a recently remodeled room and it was beautifully done. We had a mountain view and the staff was so helpful - perfect place to stay for going to Sequoia National Park, just minutes away! We really enjoyed our stay here.
