I loved the property and the room. Had an opportunity to meet the owner of the property and restaurant. They were very friendly and accommodating. I had forgotten several things for our stay and they were quick to help me in giving me those items. Also told me about hiking trails, when the gondola operated, and gave me a tour of a nearby "yert" that you could reserve/stay. Can't wait to visit again.

There wasn’t a kitchenette or portable fan which I saw on the site but had everything we needed. Cracked the windows which allowed cool air in the evenings. Loved the room setup.

Sweet little lodge with mountain breeze freely flowing through surrounding aspen trees. Beautiful architectural vaulted highlights in common open spaces with specifically spaced portal type windows. Comfortable clean room with 2 double beds and 2 bathrooms with showers. Plenty of space to hang clothes and setup luggage on provided rack. Small refrigerator and microwave provided. Worked well. Needs a small coffee maker or at least one in a common area. Plenty of beauty to encounter outdoors in this area. Worth the stay!

Conveniently located to ski Powderhorn. Place to sleep and literally roll out of bed and onto the slopes. Would stay there again made life easy.

Slopeside was clean, easy self checkin/checkout and great location. Hotel is ready for demo after Spring 2023..Too bad, I have stayed here before and it was a great family place. Bring your own microwavable food and drink, plates and silverware, chairs, table.

Everything was nice. The only complaint is that there was no hot water. After letting it run for 10 minutes it was barely lukewarm.

Overall, a substandard experience. Not very clean. The bedding was haphazardly made. I'm unsure that it had actually been changed before my arrival. Peculiar room layout: The bed appeared to be on the wrong side of the room based on wall lamps. The desk & chair had to be moved from the coast hanging area in order to be used. Everything was unplugged, the mini fridge had to be moved a substantial distance to be plugged in, and the microwave was not functional after being plugged in.

This is an off-season ski hotel. Bring your own food or eat before you get there because there is nothing nearby. Room was clean, but property is old and creaky, with thin walls and floors.

Very old and dated property, our ceiling light was hanging on by a thread, shower went from cold to burning hot without warning, shower was clean but stained. No hair dryer in room, which was disappointing for a ski resort. Continental breakfast was one box of cereal and some packaged sticky buns that were expired (which says a lot considering the shelf life on those things!). Pros: good communication with property, on-site parking, close to the lift, reasonable price. If you aren’t picky, are budget conscious and want to be on the mountain it wasn’t awful, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to stay there again.

The hot water did not stay hot for long enough to take even a short shower, or did not get hot at all. The heat did not work, and it was cold in the room. The room was very noisy; I could clearly hear people in the room above (until late in the night / early morning). The front entrance door was broken, and it had to be forced to open enough to enter or to bring in luggage. This problem was obvious and had clearly been a problem for a while, but it was simply ignored. The cost of the room was far too high to have these problems.

Do not book Slopeside. They'll email you telling you they will reach out to give you a code to check in with, but that email never comes. The phone number they give you goes straight to voicemail. We were unable to check in (because there is no-one there) and the phone calls were never returned. This led to driving an hour away to find another hotel. To make matters worse, Hotels.com does nothing about it. They said they were also calling for days, and couldn't get ahold of anyone. Then say "sorry, no refunds". How hotels.com allows this venue to be on their platform, and refuses to help their customers, is beyond me. Makes me lose a lot of trust in the platform.

Directions not good, No hot water in the am, No bath tub, No chair to sit in, No elevator for 2nd floor, Bending down to shave in cold water butt hits the door, Nowhere to sit to watch TV Blinds about impossible to pull up and dirty along with the window sills, Light switch behind door, Bathroom light had one bulb out, TV plugged into ext cord hanging in the air. Carpet in hallway rippled in many places (good tripping hazard). Took pictures to back this up.

We arrived at the property around 9 PM to check in and found it to be closed. It was locked up and a sign said it was scheduled for demolition in less than 2 weeks. It took us over 4 hours and cost almost $300 extra to find an available hotel room for the night. Extremely disappointed.

The property is going to be torn down. There was no hot water, lights were out in some areas in room.it was so bad I left the property before the second night and have asked for a refund of the second night. I cut my vacation short and cancelled my stay in Glenwood and went home. A property like this should not be a part of your service and if I don't get the refund it really makes you look bad. Oh well.
