My boyfriend and I love staying at the Star Motel! The staff is wonderful, and I love that the parking lot and the room feels so secure. The rooms are always clean and well-decorated, too. Super convenient location, and the staff is always kind and helpful!

Great location! Munibus picks up right outside on Lombard st. Short walk to bay, grocery store and restaurants. 20 minutes roughly by bus to the wharf. Property and room was clean. No complaints.

Such a cute place! Looks like a 50s/60s motel in the outside and renovated on the inside with comfortable beds, fridge, a loveseat, coffee table, and a cute bathroom with glass enclosed shower. The common patio area in the second floor would be great on non-rainy days. Love the location - right in the middle of everything!

Parking was very secure and super easy! The hotel staff was amazing!! If they didn’t have it…they would help you find a way to accomplish it! They always tend to go the extra mile. The just seem to care!! The motel felt safe and beautifully decorated. Love this hotel for families and for couples!

Clean room, air conditioner worked, good neighborhood with food & coffee options. Quiet hotel and friendly staff. Only annoying part was the light in the bathroom was on a sensor so when you showered it would turn off so you would have to wave back on. Honestly would rebook and return though!! It was a really good stay!

This is a perfect place to stay in San Francisco! This motel is absolutely amazing- newly renovated rooms, very comfortable beds and is walkable to so many places to see in the city. The room rates are hands down one of the best in the area and did I mention free parking??? You can’t go wrong booking a room here- I can guarantee that you won’t be disappointed!!
