The wife was as sweet as pie. If we had one complaint it would be not to have her husband do the check ins. For the amount of money you spend for the stay he was very off-putting during meet and greet. Almost as if we should feel privileged to be on his property. I highly recommend this place as long as you can look past the husband's crankiness.

Kate & Al are super hosts and the Strictly Moose suites are clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with full kitchens. Gorham is a lovely little town with terrific dining options a short walk from the lodge (Kate & Al will give you tips) and it's a short drive to all that the White Mountains have to offer. We would definitely go back and stay longer.

Wonderful location with a spacious suite including a large bathroom that has two sinks and a large walk-in shower with a rain shower and stand shower head at opposite sides. The kitchen is also good size with a table that seats four and plenty of counter space. The appliances seem new and all of them worked perfectly. If we were ever near Mt Washington again, this would be the only place we would stay in.

Many thanks to Kate and Al for their hospitality! This property is absolutely beautiful. It was clear when I arrived that the hosts had worked tirelessly to stock the rooms with every amenity guests may need. The suite was impeccable and exuded a level of care and attention to detail often reserved for a four or five star hotel. I travel extensively for business, and this property could go toe to toe with any major luxury hotel chain in terms of amenities, comfort, and cleanliness. I received a warm reception from the hosts when I arrived, and they went as far as to ask if I needed any supplies from the store when they went out after I checked in. This personal touch is impossible to replicate at a large hotel. It is clear that Kate and Al are passionate about what they do. The only downside to my stay was that I could not stay longer! I will return to Strictly Moose again, and I'll be recommending the property to my friends and family.

Small family owned suite very friendly owners. Suite was stocked with paper towels dish soap sponges pots and pans/ cutlery you could ever need. Small quiet town with plenty of attractions within 10 minit drive and super walmart right up the street. Pleasent stay id recommend !

Stayed in area to hike! Owners were amazing , everything was tidy accessible and owners were always responsive and kind. They also assisted us with finding some bike paths! Highly recommend it. Area has some cute shops and a few nice restaurants one is right on river .

Had a great stay at Strictly Moose for two adults. Had the conveniences of home. The hosts/owners were very friendly and welcoming. Came up to the area to go hiking. Would book this suite again!
