Dump! A/c did not work. TV did not work. Couch in room looked like a homeless colony had been sleeping on it. Front desk girl had the worst attitude.

The staff was absolutely amazing!!! Like I can't express enough how great they were!! So friendly and helpful. That being said... they are in the processes of updating the property which it desperately needs. Housekeepers are super friendly but definitely need to do a better job of cleaning. Breakfast is extremely small but sufficient for a hurried trip. I was there for a surgery and the girl at the front desk (i wish i could remember her name) tried to keep me close to the elevator and even hugged me before i left for the hospital. She also loaned me her blow dryer as someone literally ripped the blow dryer off the wall in the room. I will stay there again because of the staff. The beds are very broken down but even with the issues i have and the back procedures i still slept comfortably!! Oh also if they're are multiple ppl staying out you're like me... all for extra wash clothes at check in. There's only 1 in the room!!! Thank you staff for safe and enjoyable stay even though i wasn't there for fun!!!

Parking was adequate for the size of the hotel building. Several areas that were being renovated. The room did not have a TV due to the previous occupants that had broke it. Not a big deal. We were there to sleep. The room and hotel for the most part was clean and comfortable. Complementary breakfast was small but tasty.

Sofa in the room looked pretty disgusting with stains, so we just avoided sitting on it at all. The TV's volume was locked so low (under 50%) that the speakers may as well not even have worked. Only one tiny trash can in the whole room. AC worked well enough though. Staff was generally friendly and parking is a bit limited, but we were never without a spot. Could certainly do worse in Abilene.

It didn’t look very clean from the outside and I could tell some remodeling might have been going on. I was worried when we pulled into the parking lot and saw open windows. For the most part, our room was clean. The AC worked and the bed was comfortable. We couldn’t safely close the bathroom door for fear of not being able to get it open again. We were there for Mother’s Day weekend and the room was WAY OVERPRICED.

Very misleading online... not in the greatest of locations which can't be helped. But new carpet was being installed so no breakfast, had to work around the rolls of carpet and supplies to get to our room, and no water in the pool. When asked how long the renovation would take, was told they weren't renovating, just putting down new carpet. Meanwhile the building was extremely rundown and needed paint and new windows. Rooms were ok but bathroom was horrendous! The toilet rocked and the seat was crooked! Shower was awful... barely had any stream. Overall, a complete renovation is very much needed. The place just wasn't very inviting.

The hotel is under construction, so it’s very slumming looking, and the owners live there, so it feels like someone is watching you.

The lobby was under construction, so it was a bit messy, but that was to be expected, I suppose. The shower curtain rod in our bathroom was broken, so the shower curtain wouldn't stay stretched across the shower when showering. It sagged to the middle. The toilet seat was also broken when I entered the room, but I was able to get it back on track.

Not a great experience. The room light fixtures were missing bulbs, TV was not working, lack of a full roll of toilet paper, no coffee maker, no breakfast, vending machine also inoperable. The good - location, free parking.
