This charming bed-and-breakfast had a view to die for ! beautiful French doorsover looking the Chesapeake Bay with comfortable bedding & loved my big tub, cozy breakfast with a table full of friendly travelers đź’śđź’šhope to be back!

The owner and his wife were awesome and we really enjoyed meeting them. Breakfast was lovely. The view from our room and the dining room was stunning. Our room was a bit outdated but clean and comfortable and the view was unbelievable. I would have liked a top sheet or duvet. We had a bottom sheet and a thin quilt. No TV in room, which was a blessing because we slept like rocks. Some of the chairs on the balcony were broken and the roof of the balcony seemed a little iffy. All that being said, I would stay again for the view, the fabulous owners and the natural beauty of the property.

Mike was an excellent host, doing all he could to respond to our needs. The bay view was beautiful and the windows of the house highlighted it. The bathroom was very nice and the bed gave us the best sleep we've had in months. Being the off season meant there were a number of places closed or with very short hours in the area, so there was less to do than we might have wanted.

We got in late but the owner was quite understanding and made us feel at home. Everything was clean and functioning. Next morning, the breakfast was very good and our host sat down and chatted for awhile. Very interesting local stories about the revolutionary and civil wars wars. Before we left, we got a few recommendations for restaurants in our next stop. Very nice overall.

The room was large with a wonderful balcony overlooking the water. The view was outstanding. We were received by the owner who we enjoyed talking to. We felt comfortable immediately. We left early the next morning and had a delicious homemade muffin and fruit for breakfast.

Baywood in offers and incredibly relaxing stay with superb views. The owner is a wonderful host, offering good information and a really nice breakfast. The bed is super comfortable and the rooms are very amble- with lots of space you usually do not find. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing stay on the Eastern shore.
