This hotel was great! The self check-in made getting to our room super easy. Our room was spacious and clean. Convenient location within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants on Main street. Not to mention the interesting history of the building itself. We loved it!

The Chandler has the most comfiest bed I've ever slept in! Sometimes I have trouble getting out of bed because it's no nice. Whenever I book at The Chandler it's because I want to get a great night sleep & that is in walking distance to everything!! I would stay here every time we go to Madison except it's on the pricey side for how often we go!

We had a great stay here because of the beautifully restored building, our spacious and comfortable room, and the perfect location - not directly on Main Street but just a block away, making it both quiet and convenient. Be aware that there are no staff on site - access to the building and your room are via numeric code sent to you ahead of your stay. This was a new experience for us but it worked just fine. There's also no restaurant or bar on the premises, but step outside and you'll have many choices just steps away. We would definitely stay here again on a return visit to Madison.

Adorable hotel and so convenient to all of the restaurants, shops, and bars! We stayed in the Stableman's Quarters, which was right next to the amenities station and water. It is the furthest from the entrance, but closest to the terrace. Loved the decor and informative signs.

This is a perfect place for 2 people for a visit in Madison, IN. Contactless check-in/check-out was seamless, the room was spotless, parking was available right in front of the building and close to all Madison has to offer. It is similar to a small studio apartment, meaning it does not have a separate bedroom, but is divided by the faux fireplace. One thing we would have liked in the kitchenette would have been a toaster. Other than that, it had what we needed(coffee, microwave, smaller refrigerator). The bathroom is very spacious with double vanities and a very large shower. The building overall is very nicely renovated as is the room.

The Chandler Hotel is amazing—absolutely what we expected based on the photos. The room was super clean & cozy with lots of extras! If you are considering this spot, book it! The location is PERFECT with lots of shopping & dining all around. The host was super responsive. I just can’t say enough about THE CHANDLER! The “best spot” in Madison Indiana!

Incredible boutique hotel! We will be using The chandler as our go to hotel. Incredible furnishings, amenities, and don’t forget to check out their wine and bowling bar. Gorgeous design and love all of their wines plus liquor! Very quaint hotel and town!

We had a great stay - the hotel is absolutely beautiful! Each room was decorated in it's own unique way. Everything was very clean, the beds were super comfy, and the location is perfect to be able to walk to any of the local spots downtown. We loved that the entry door and the rooms had key pads with individual codes - so no need for keeping track of key cards. Highly recommend!
