Conveniently located. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Easy check-in even without an attendant available. Breakfast offering was a bit less than what is generally served at a bed and breakfast type inn. Continental help yourself with no warm items (i.e., eggs, breakfast meats, etc.). Would still stay again when in the area.

Great stay! Off the beaten path of a commercial hotel. A really nice change. Loved the surrounding porch and gardens.

Great stay for two nights. Very friendly staff, beautiful inn, nice common room for breakfast, garden and porch to relax outside. The location - a short walk to downtown and the train station - was great. My only concern, and it was not a problem because I arrive at 4pm, was the code for the front door sent thru hotels.com for the front door was incorrect...worth calling ahead to make sure your code is correct

This is a little gem of an B&B! Yes, the floor squeek, and you can hear flushing in the pipes, stairs and no elevator, so if you can not handle that, this is not the place for you! But if you appreciate lots of charm, lovely helpful people and a wonderful porch for your morning coffee - this is ‚home away from home‘! Just a short stroll to downtown Summit, lots of restaurants and shops, quiet and comfortable surroundings when travelling alone, such a great place! Highly recommend it!

This is a very nice "bed and breakfast" type establishment, just outside of downtown Summit. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed, you can easily walk to downtown and the breakfast has a nice selection of breakfast bread and pastries. I would stay here again.

We stayed there for a wedding during Valentine's day weekend and loved it! The breakfast was excellent, the staff was super friendly, and the amenities and location were great! It was only a few minutes walk to downtown Summit, and it's also really close to the NJT Summit train stop (though we did not use the train this trip. I would definitely stay here again!

I lived in Summit for 40 years and only stayed here after moving away. This is a charming converted multi-story home, very old-school in its bones, but updated for wifi, chargers, etc. Nicely appointed, two quiet blocks from downtown Summit. Real staff on site--not a tie-line to some national headquarters. Staff goes home at 6 but is close by and available by phone if needed. Spacious sitting room and breakfast area with nice spread of breakfast fare. Short walk to the train (NJ transit to NYC and elsewhere). Summit has restaurants ranging from a NYC quality steak house (Roots) to The Summit Diner, a 1920s-era DDD where my children and I spent every Saturday morning eating short-stacks and eggs & corn beef hash. The DeBary is my new go-to place for when I'm visiting. If you really need a gleaming Ritz Carlton, well there's one a couple of miles away (charging $500/night more), but you'll be disappointed. Call-out to Emily, Innkeeper: Thanks for the friendly, small-town service.
