Beautiful vintage property that has been updated and close to everything but still very quiet and private!

The location and cleanliness was key takeaways... so I will tell all my veterans, friends, and family members if you are visiting Pittsburgh this is a GREAT place for a day trip/overnight stay.

This apartment is a great Gem. It is near Highland Park's social center (restaurants, bars, community park, etc). The apartment is located in a quiet area of town. Apartment floor plan is good for people of any age and mobility. Checkin is easy and the property owner is very responsive and accommodating. Easy access to the city, yet far enough away to enjoy quiet walks or an expresso or glass of wine on the private or common porch.

Lack of adequate bath towles ,ceiling tiles were missing in some spots. Central Air was inoperable. Shower seemed to be missing half of the door. Overall the unit was in subpar condition compared to the cost I incurred.

Where do I start.... when we arrived, we wanted to put our things in the freezer. Upon opening the freezer, it looked like a soda exploded and had not been cleaned. The perimeter of the shower had not been cleaned, there were some interesting stains on the couch, and on the inside of the down comforter, there was a large make up stain and my partner and I do not wear make up. The heat makes a terrible noise if left on and the two space heaters do not warm up the room. There is a window with no curtain or blinds in the bathroom that looks directly into the shower. They left us 2 towels for 6 days. No hand towel in the bathroom and when you use the shower, it leaks all over the floor and you have no way to clean it up. There is also a very small garbage can that simply would not last us 6 days. I messaged the host inquiring about more towels and the garbage on the second day we stayed and did not hear back from them (messaged was trying to get me to leave a 5 star review, not solve my problem) until we had already checked out. The place was quiet, but the night before we left it was so noisy with children screaming and doors slamming at 11pm on a Tuesday. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher when we got there. I was super excited to have a full kitchen, but the cook wear left looks like it was bought at a Goodwill and not cleaned. When I tried to use the microwave, the electrical panel started buzzing. I would save yourself the headache and not stay here.

No response from hotel, check in was virtual, they don’t answer their phone or report to messages regarding missing items from room: toilet paper, towels, heater not working

This place was abandoned and the contact for the property was a blank voicemail. Never got any sort of response or contact from the property after booking.

The property is now residential. We got there at 10 PM after a long drive and someone lives in the apartment. Total scam! The property manager emailed me that morning with lock codes yet we had to find a hotel at 10 pm at night last minute since we couldn’t stay here!

The door to our "room" was off its hinges and lying in the bedroom, next to a large pile of disassembled bedroom furniture. The"living room" also had a pile of dissassembled furniture & boxes of personal effects, as did the "kitchen." No bedding or linens, no lighting, no electricity! No response from "Luxe PGH" when we tried to contact them, but a tenant in the bldg. told us the unit has been vacated and left like that for 2 months now. It's pretty clear someone "rented" this, then listed it for as a short-term rental, then was evicted by the landlord but IS STILL "RENTING IT AS A SHORT-TERM RENTAL!" TOTAL SCAM, AVOID THIS AT ALL COSTS! Also, a big ZERO score to Hotels.com & Expedia for not having a human contact point to alert them to the situation or help us in any way.

This was horrible. Photos weee not like the actual place. Homes in walls. No linens. No doors. Walk into a house and you’re open to all the other units and apartments above. Do not stay here. I wasn’t able to reach the owner. They did not refund me. Had to pay for a last minute hotel instead. SCAM!!!

I was unable to stay at this hotel as there was no front door on my unit.! Unit was dirty and had the appearance of someone living in it Again, there was no front door to the unit. It was wide open!!! I have not been able to get any response I have not received a refund of my prepaid cost. I have sent four messages. The number associated with the hotel does not accept messages. I have reached out to numbers that I’ve been provided with no response. It is my expectation that Expedia will resolve this issue.

Oh man, if I could give this property a 0 star rating I would. My stay was canceled by the property the day I was meant to check in. While I then went to call the number listed a whopping 15 times each and every one going to voicemail I received two text messages asking what I needed, followed by being told to find new accommodations. This location is a scam and should be delisted. Save your time and money.

See the review. Never received check in info on time. Don’t go. Wasn’t refunded. Horrible service . No one answers the hotel phone except some dude in a foreign country who ignored my call and couldn’t locate my reservation.

We had a bad experience. Apt had no proper heating on 1st night, sockets were tripped, no hot water, owner/manager promised help and never got back and stopped picking our calls till we vacated the property.
