We were welcomed by very warm and kind folks at the inn. We appreciated the cleanliness of the room and property as a whole. Breakfast was great! Fruits and danishes were left out for guests.

The breakfast was amazing and they cater to all dietary restrictions, even gluten free! The property is gorgeous! The visual image of “warm and welcoming” is the Ellis Inn! The staff is so incredibly kind, they share the history of the inn, talk about their adorable doggos, and have an entire wall of suggestions for food / activities in the area! It was the perfect getaway! I loved sitting in the sunny day room to read and write! I can not wait to visit again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Ellis Inn! It was easy to find and delightful once we got there. The hosts were lovely, and our room was clean and well-decorated. Breakfast the next day was great, and they were able to accommodate my food allergy! Highly recommend.

Everything was great. Upon arrival, someone was there to greet you. Many happy faces to share your day with. The room was clean and perfect for a night's stay. If you need more room, there are plenty of inviting rooms to lounge in. Breakfast was delicious and the perfect size. I was pleased.

The property was charming, and I wish I had more time to take in the Ellis Inn's other amenities. I felt bad that I missed the original breakfast time on my first morning there due to jet lag, but Paula was so accommodating. The room was great, and the bed was a little too comfortable. It is an excellent location if you are visiting northern and central Vermont but be advised that parking can be a little tricky there. Though that could also be attributed to my lack of familiarity with the type of rental car I had. Overall a great experience.

I had to cancel several days before the check-in date, but the Inn’s policy would not accept my cancellation. So, I had to pay for the room without being able to use it.
