The Hotel Chelsea a gem! Our room was so incredibly cozy. We stayed in a Petite Suite and were absolutely blown away by the decor, the floorplan layout, the balcony doors, the water pressure (best ever), and, of course, the service and hospitality from staff was fantastic too. We enjoyed massages at the spa and dinner & drinks at the Cafe Chelsea, Lobby Bar, Teruko (first time eating sushi!) and via room service. I recommend the Hotel Chelsea if you’re wanting to immerse yourself in true New York culture. Absolutely wonderful on all accounts!

It was a joy to stay in such an historic building. It seeps history of the subculture. It's not cheap, but what do you expect if you want somewhere as good as this? The staff were ultra polite and helpful, even got me onto a front balcony for a Dee Dee Ramone shot. My room was beautifully furnished and decorated, very sympathetic to the building. The artwork on the walls meant I hardly used the lift,it was a joy to walk past it. Go to the in house restaurant, the speciality lobster and steak is a treat.

Really great art everywhere. Cool mood lighting. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Great neighborhood. Able to walk every place we wanted to see. Loved the marble bathroom with the brass fixtures. Very quiet. Slept so well. Good cable tv. Saw some great movies. Cafe is amazing. Spend the money and go!

The Hotel Chelsea is my home away from home. Everything about the property is exceptional, but what makes it truly special is the artists who call the Chelsea home full time. Explore the corridors and you'll pass by the apartments of residents, carrying on the long Chelsea tradition of being home to artists who are an integral part of the city's cultural fabric. They're the beating heart of the hotel. If you get a chance, take the hotel tour with William! P.S. best French fries in the city

There is a lot of Staff on site. Each one is there to help -take advantage, make an effort to make contact with them, each member that I spoke to was so cheerful and willing! Thank- you for hiring great Staff! & Training them well! Eat at least once at the hotel. But reserve a table. Go for it. In town that night and don’t want to start searching the city for something to do, get tickets to Gotham Comedy club next door, don’t need a coat to use to get there! Then 10 steps back to the Hotel. Very easy.

I totally enjoyed the stay, the parking garage arrangements were well done. The staff was super helpful, the restaurants we visited and room service were great. I loved the art throughout the hotel, the mix of stories about famous celebrities as well as ghost stories really made the place feel special. A lot of nice touches in design. The technology was good too, wifi, tvs capable of connecting to one's phone, it was all good. I hope to return and would highly recommend for a fun time exploring NYC's mid to lower Manhattan.

My recent stay at Hotel Chelsea was driven by something very specific. I was looking for that elusive, storied energy you find at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles. While they are not affiliated, the comparison is inevitable. In many ways, they feel like sister properties. Creative, slightly irreverent, and deeply rooted in cultural history. I stayed in the Grand Suite Chelsea, a corner suite on the ninth floor. The room itself is exceptional. Flooded with natural light, beautifully designed, and generous in scale. That said, the bedroom within the suite is noticeably tight compared to the living areas. It works, but it is something to be aware of. The in-room experience is where the property really distinguishes itself. The minibar is fully stocked, with non alcoholic beverages and snacks offered on a complimentary basis, while alcoholic options are available for purchase. It is a thoughtful and genuinely appreciated touch. And candidly, the rooms here surpass those at Chateau Marmont in every respect. As I have said before, Chateau Marmont is overdue for a refresh. I spent time in the spa as well. It is pleasant and well executed, though not what I would classify as true luxury. Still, a lovely experience. The gym, located in its own space on the top floor, is beautifully done and feels like a hidden asset of the hotel. The lobby bar sets the tone for the evenings. It is a great space for drinks and atmosphere. Service, however, was uneven. While the staff is attentive, it

One of the most unique hotels I’ve stayed in. It felt like a beautiful home. We loved the history of the hotel and the rooms were a great size for NYC. Cool part of the city to wander. We sat outside for a late dinner and it felt like Paris. Friendly knowledgeable staff too.
