The Inn is so charming and comfortable. We only had a one night stay and we wish we could have stayed longer. The check in process was fast and easy. Our room was completely quiet, despite being within view of a street. The drapes kept the room nice and dark so that we had a great night's sleep. We had a question about the thermostat and within 2 minutes a staff member was at our room helping. We highly recommend the Inn at Zaca Creek.

Wonderful place, very clean with a lot of extra goodies free of charge. The room was unique and comfortable. Also quiet and pretty. We ate at the restaurant which served delicious food with great service. Yummy cocktails from the bar! Parking is generous everywhere too. We will definitely return and highly recommend!

The Inn at Zaca Creek was a treat, and we will certainly be back. The room was exquisite. It was made completely of stone with a Chandelier set into a high ceiling, rather like living in a castle. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had amenities galore, as did the snack bar set up with coffee and cookies all inclusive. The tavern had delicious food and drinks, the service top-notch. We were really treated like royalty and loved every moment. This is definitely a go-to for us.

The inn at Zaca Creek was special. We booked room 6 to stay and visit nearby Solvang with our college-age kids. The inn has all of the modern luxury amenities you want but delivered with the feel of a rustic, ancient roadhouse. The beds were plush and the bathroom was awesome. We loved the rain shower and waking up to espresso coffee in the room. The Tavern was also special. We sat outside one night at a cushy, enclosed corner table with a gentle fire pit in the middle that was perfect for the May evening chill. We had sumptuous, aromatic cocktails, perfectly cooked, buttery local Santa Barbara cod and crème brûlée and dessert cocktails to finish. We ate early dinner at Peasants Feast (Michelin 2024) in Solvang the next day and ended the day with more delicious cocktails at the lovely bar inside the Tavern where the hospitality and attention to detail from the hosts continued to shine. This is a great place for dinner and a stay while on the road or as a base to explore Solvang. You could also have a dream wedding here. The whole place is beautiful.

This place is truly a Hidden Gem. We were coming to the Central Valley for a wedding at Zaca Lake I needed to find a hotel room. This place is more than just a hotel this is an experience! From the moment you pull into the parking lot to the minute you check in your room. The grounds are something right out of Europe with mature lavender, and white roses blending perfectly with hundred year old oak and pepper trees. You really would think you were staying at a villa in Europe and not in a boutique hotel right off of the 101 freeway in Buelton. The owners of this Inn have not forgotten a single detail in the design and planning of it from the rooms to the landscape to The Tavern bar and restaurant! I can say I have never been so excited to write a review as I am to write this one. If you stay at the Inn I highly recommend you have dinner at the tavern if nothing else certainly stop in for a cocktail. I promise you won't be sorry. The attention to detail that went into designing this Inn is evident in every way. The only thing we didn't have a chance to experience was their breakfast delivered to your door. I guess that gives us one more reason to visit the Inn again.

They have a beautiful swimming pool but it’s closed. Couldn’t get a straight answer why it was off limits. It was obviously maintained very well. Beautiful gardens.

Although I communicated with the staff via email, they always replied promptly. Even though there was a minor issue, I had a very pleasant stay. There’s a restaurant right behind the property, but I couldn’t hear any noise from it, so I was able to relax in a very quiet space.

Beautiful property! Quiet, bucolic, the flowers, the trees… all so pretty. Took a walk in the morning just to enjoy the property before I had to leave. The room felt like your own little castle cottage. Incredibly well appointed. From grooming kits to a dental kit. All the extra blankets and pillows and towels you could use. Separated like a home. Front room, bedroom, large bathroom. Amazing bath tub! They even brought bowls for my little dog. If I end up that way again I would hope I could get a room here. Just wonderful!

First time here. There are only 6 rooms I think. But the vibe is very nice. The room was chic. Nice bathroom with separate tub and shower. The star of the show was the tavern. Good and original food. I enjoyed the short stay!

First off the room was super unique. It felt like a castle with the rock walls and wood beam ceiling. Here is a list of all the good things: 1. ROOM SIZE: The room was large. It had a sitying area with a sofa, coffee table, 2 chairs and a small end table. 2. LOCATION: Inn is located outside the hubbub of Solvang, in a quiet rural type area, yet close to restaurants and 5 mins from Solvang. 3. SIZE: There only 6 units which kept things quiet and private. The Tavern Restaurant is adjacent to units. 4. AMENITIES: robes, extra towels, small fridge, nespresso machine, snacks, charging ports, dental kit, shaving kit, throw blankets, large tv. 5. STAFF: very attentive and friendly general manager. We actually received a call in early afternoon letting us know our room was ready and we could check in earlier. CON: The matress was a bit soft for my problem back. Would I stay again? Of Course.

Check in is seamless, no reception area, just a tablet, no key, just a code for the door, no check out, just text them when you are done, it couldn't get easier and smarter. Rooms have Roku, USB chargers, tooth brushes and paste, so you can travel light. 3 min drive from downtown and close to attractions

We had a wonderful stay! I absolutely love the cozy rooms—their quaint design are such a breath of fresh air from the usual hotels I stay at, and their amenities are generous. We really appreciated the slippers! Parking was great, and love that it is a short drive to Solvang. Might recommend implementing quiet hours—our neighbors had the TV on loud all night, but that was an inconsideration on the guest’s behalf and not the hotel. Am also grateful to Sally for her attentiveness. Can’t wait to stay again!
