Everything was amazing. Room was clean. Hotel was beautiful. The only disappointment is the restaurant was supposed to be open until 11pm and we went to the bar at 10:30 and they had closed a half hour early. They did have other options at the front desk store so we were not horribly inconvenienced. We were otherwise very impressed.

We’ve stayed at the Kensington several times and every time they were very accommodating. However, this time, we found the pool under renovation and no one offered a free room upgrade or free drinks as compensation. Plus, our shower had mold on the ceiling. it was dry but still, maintenance should have taken care of it before renting the space.

Great property, outstanding staff, clean and well maintained. I had an issue when I checked in with my bathroom and the staff immediately took care of it. They moved me to an upgraded room and were generally very helpful if I had questions I liked the location right off of I-94 and very close to everything University of Michigan. I will definitely stay here again.

The staff was so welcoming and helpful from beginning to end. Front desk host was so reassuring when we called to tell we would be arriving late and at check in he knew exactly who we were. He was super funny and we told him he should be a comedian. We also loved our server at breakfast, Marcus who is a student at MI. He gave us great tips on touring. Most comfortable hotel bed ever. All in all it was a great stay!

We were welcomed by William, and he was delightful. Offered a glass of champagne. The room was clean, comfortable, nicely appointed, and quiet. I used the fitness center, but regrettably didn't take time to swim in the pool. The pool area was very clean. I will be visiting Ann Arbor again soon and will definitely book this hotel.

Look, it's hard to pick out one single feature to review because this place was a knockout. We stayed in perhaps a dozen hotels as we drove across the country and this place was the star, overall. It's the one hotel that could be construed as a destination in and of itself. Amenities were super - pool, hot tub, workout machines, lobby food and treats, adjoining restaurant - this place had them all. Most hotels coem off as OK and good for a night or tow, but this place was a cut above.

I stay in Ann Arbor because it is convenient to my children's college. But I stay at Kennington because they have the BEST SIZE AND WARMTH OF AN INSIDE POOL YEAR ROUND!! I swim when I travel and love to do laps any time of the day. They open the pool at 530 am and close it at 1100 for adults. I have traveled all over and it is the BEST POOL!! When I am done doing laps, I go into the hot tub which is not that hot (I hate when they are so hot you can't relax.) and read, along with my (non-glass beverage) best time of traveling sometimes:):) It is super clean (which I am a crazy person about) with no pets on the top floors which I LOVE LOVE LOVE!!

I stayed in an upgraded King room. It was very comfortable and super quiet at night. View wasn’t that special as it overlooked the roof and a small corner of the outdoor gathering area. However, I didn’t care as I was primarily there to sleep. Great temperature control. Comfortable bed.
